Review for Milam Inn Hotel I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with Adventure Mania and the hotel they arranged for us — Milam Inn in Almora — as part of our travel itinerary. This hotel was specifically recommended by Siddharth, who was part of the Adventure Mania team at the time. He may no longer be with them, but the responsibility of recommending safe, clean, and guest-ready accommodations lies entirely with the travel agency. Our experience at Milam Inn was extremely poor and unacceptable: Safety Concerns: The hotel did not feel safe at all, especially for female travelers. This should be a serious red flag for anyone considering it. Terrible Hygiene: The bed sheets had red rashes and black spots — absolutely unhygienic and unacceptable. No Basic Amenities: At check-in, we were not provided with water bottles, towels, or even clean toiletries — the bare minimum any traveler expects. Filthy Washrooms: The bathroom was in an appalling state, clearly not cleaned and completely unhygienic. Untrained and Unprofessional Staff: The hotel staff were poorly trained and lacked any sense of hospitality or accountability. This is not just about poor service — it is about guest safety and wellbeing, which were completely ignored. I strongly urge all travel partners and booking platforms to immediately delist Milam Inn and consider it unsafe for travelers. This experience not only caused distress but also raised serious concerns about the professionalism of the team at the hotel. I will not recommend this Hotel to anyone unless they drastically improve their vetting process and ensure only safe, clean, and reliable accommodations are part of their stay who spend thier hard earned money.
