We spent a few nights in different rooms in this hotel. With the exception of the first room, which was just OK, the other rooms we slept in were nice. Staff was generally nice and friendly. Breakfast was good as well. The best thing about the hotel is its location because it is very close to the pedestrian area and to the subway.

Basically a good hotel with pleasant breakfasts. However, we were given only one towel for a room with two people and when we went to reception to request further towels we were refused - I can't imagine that in any other hotel.

Fairly well located, helpful English-speaking staff and good breakfast. Room a bit small but was clean and had everything we needed. Reception staff were very helpful in arranging a taxi for our onward journey. Not sure whether we'll visit Almaty again but would happily use this hotel again if we did.

The hotel is close to most of the amusement parks , Big Market , banks and pharmacies . It is very convenient to stay here . Nice view from balcony. Friendly staff , clean rooms , quick repair when something breaks . The manager is very helpful and funny. Good breakfast. I really like the woman serving the breakfast buffet. she is very friendly, always clean everything is neat.

Stayed here as part of a group tour. Our room was huge and the modern facilities real luxury after staying in yurts and guesthouses. There were two beds in our room and a separate seating area. There was a kettle and complimentary toiletries etc. Bathroom was modern with a great shower. A big bonus was the balcony that ran the full length of the large room meaning there was outside space too. One thing I found of note was this was the only hotel I've ever stayed in with a gas mask ( check in your cupboard!). I enjoyed the breakfast - it stacked up well in the selection of items available and you could get good coffee made to order. The hotel is also well located fir many of the sites, shops, cafes and bars and cash machines/exchange services.

It's located downtown in Almaty ,very clean with a lot of stuff in the bathroom to use. The personal was very kind with a good English. The room was extremely small. The bed was king-size but in a corner , with difficult access. The breakfast was fine .

Brilliant value hotel in a central location in Almaty. Had previously stayed at the Intercontinental which was almost 4 times the price!!! The rooms were great and all had balconies. Comfy beds and the best shower I have found in Kyrgyzstan or Kazakhstan. Whilst the level of English spoken was not great the staff were helpful and Google translate generally got the message across. Thoroughly recommend as a reasonably priced option in Almaty.
