The room is clean and tidy, the front desk can communicate in English and a few words of Chinese, which makes communication easy. The hotel is close to the Ascension Cathedral and the pedestrian street, and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel is excellent. Have a very good stay there.
Just need to improve on water control for hot and cool water which cannot be controlled. The staff the reception are very helpful and try to communicate her best in english

I was really looking forward to writing a review. Terrible hotel, the smell in the whole hotel is disgusting, as if they slaughtered cattle and it stinks there for a year, terrible service, as if they clean but just leave disposable utensils and that's it, the staff took my dishes from the room and only after I called 5 times to return them did they bring them dirty, as if they stored their own there and did not wash them. I asked for an iron, I urgently needed to go to the clinic, I waited an hour! I called the reception, they said they would bring it but they did not, I went downstairs, then after such attempts they brought it, the breakfast is good but the dishes are dirty and stink, they wash without detergent, so, in short, my impression of Almaty is terrible because of this hotel

The hotel location is good, super near the Abai Opera House, Zenkov Cathedral and other landmarks. The room size and amenities are reasonable compared to the price and clean but we didn’t receive much friendliness from the hotel staff. All in all it was a good stay.

Value for money, bit small room, but has everything, good location in city centre. Reception is very nice to waive fee for a broken glass
