This is my first time in Almaty and my first time staying in this hostel. It is very clean and has a harmonious atmosphere. There is a small supermarket downstairs and the bus is also convenient.

I stayed in the 10 bed room, but thankfully there were only 4 others in the room as it would have been terribly crowded both in the room and in the bathrooms. The rooms have triple bunks although the top bunk is not in use - but this does mean that each bunk has limited headroom. The rooms and bathrooms were not the cleanest but could have been worse. There is a very small communal area, with a kitchen, two tables and a sofa. Throughout my stay, there was a child watching tiktok videos on the TV in this space, making it quite unappealing.
