Delightful place. Beautiful design rooms and gardens. Lots of places to sit outside. Sadly the weather was not good enough for us to use the pool but it must be great when you can. But we enjoyed sitting in the cosy lounge by the blazing log fire instead. Lots of honesty boxes about so you can help yourself to food, drink, ice creams, snacks at any time. Made it relaxing and also added to the special atmosphere with so much trust. We even had supper there one night rather than drive to Ronda so we could both have a drink. They have quite a selection of food you can microwave which was nicer than it might sound. Would be useful if you had kids or arrived late at night. Some great drives and walks nearby. Really hope to return one day in the summer.

Nous avons séjourné une nuit en famille à l'hôtel Cortijo las Piletas fin avril 2025. Le cadre enchanteur, l'extrême gentillesse d'Elisenda notre hôte , la beauté des paysages, la sublime piscine, les chambres très belles ont fait de ce moment un souvenir mémorable de notre périple en Andalousie. Proche de Ronda, cette superbe ferme rénovée invite à la relaxation et à la détente au calme . Nous avons particulièrement aimé la gentillesse d'Elisenda avec nos enfants. Elisenda parle parfaitement bien le français et vous donne plein de conseils touristiques sur la région. Notre hôte met à disposition plein de choses pour manger sur place, ce qui est très pratique si on ne veut pas ressortir (plats à faire réchauffer, boissons, tapas, etc...). La piscine est très grande et nos enfants ont bien apprécié la salle de jeux. Vous êtes à quelques kilomètres de Ronda et de Grazalema; un des plus beaux villages blancs d'Andalousie . Vous pouvez aussi profiter de belles randonnées à quelques pas de Cortijo Las Piletas. Seul regret: notre séjour était trop court! Nous reviendrons une prochaine fois passer plusieurs jours cette fois!

I really loved staying at Cortijo las piletas. Elly was a great host and is really interesting to talk to. The room was great, the common living area was large and comfortable, the pool was open even though it was still pretty cold, the garden is lovely. this area is really spectacular, some of the drives we did from here were amazing, and there is a lot to see and do in this area. I wish I had been here longer. The special dinner was very good.

Sprookjesachtige omgeving, ongelooflijk vriendelijke gastvrouw en zalig ontbijt zelfs de muziekkeuze was heerlijk. Hier kan je de rust vinden en je ogen de kost geven van de mooie natuur. Goed gelegen om de omliggende plaatsjes te bezoeken en het mooie Ronda te bezoeken.

Hotel Cortijos Las Piletas was one of the highlights of our trip. The location is quiet and well located for exploring the region. The owners (Elisenda and Pablo) make you feel at home from the moment you arrive whether that is providing detailed information on the area, restaurants and things to do or conversation in 5 different languages. Breakfast is lovely and the main reception area and grounds are wonderful places to hang out in after a day of touring around. There isn't dinner on site but the honest bar and available snacks are perfect. It is a great spot for couples or couples travelling together.

This hotel was booked for us as part of a cycling tour and was our first stop after a day of serious hills. We were tired and happy to have arrived and were warmly greeted by Monica. The hotel looks like a converted farm and it’s located in beautiful countryside. Our room was private and cosy. Bike storage facilities were perfect. We were happy to relax by the beautiful pool. We were also intrigued to be offered a nice selection of drinks and snacks that used the honour system - you fill out a paper chit for anything you take and it gets manually added to your bill. Our package included breakfast which was generous and fresh. The only drawback to the experience is that we were only there for one night. We’d have been happy to stay longer.

Very peaceful and spotlessly clean small hotel set in lovely countryside. Nicely furnished large bedroom with comfortable bed and air conditioning. Excellent WiFi throughout. Beautiful pool area with sun loungers and parasols set within the gardens. Nice courtyard area to enjoy breakfast outside in the sunshine or in the shade. Well stocked “honesty bar” for snacks with a good selection of soft drinks, beer, wines and liquor. The owners and staff at this small hotel go above and beyond to welcome guests and to provide assistance and information. Nothing is too much trouble. This is a unique property where the friendly service makes for a truly relaxing value for money holiday.

Hard to explain the experience other than a real sense of calm, a sense of falling into a beautiful oasis. Classic and elegant would also work, with a great setup that includes charming rooms (with AC), a decent pool and an honesty bar! The family run enterprise also shone through by the time taken to welcome us along with the expert recommendations for our time in Ronda later in the evening. Breakfast was a wide selection of treats roughly continental style (including perfectly cooked boiled eggs, a shot of gazpacho, tasty local bread, cold meats and cheeses.
