First night was rough, had a corner room where a door leading to three others kept slamming. The guests were loud and obnoxious for several hours of the night. We wanted to move rooms and were willing to downgrade but the staff were concerned about our wellbeing and upgraded us. It was very nice and we were extremely grateful. The hotel itself if beautiful, the valet is easy and quick, and the staff were always accommodating.

My girlfriend and I needed a staycation just to take a break from life and we went on a whim and choose Hotel Heron we usually stay at Hotel Indigo however I'm happy we decided to change it up. The hotel is so modern you can't even tell its a hotel, the staff is so lively. Amari did our check in and she was so fun to talk to. from in her words "Heron hotel bar hopping" and elevator tag. I don't think you get that costumer service at hotel front desk where you can actually joke and not want to rush to your room from the awkwardness. Andrew at the kiln bar was so sweet and kind and helpful. Ryan was pleasant at the rooftop and talked hockey. When you leave they welcome you back by name, and ask about your day without it seeming force. It wasn't just with us but I saw they did that with a lot of people. For that reason alone besides the amazing beds that you never wanna get up from and the the atmosphere the quality of costumer service is while we will only pick Hotel Heron from now on

Amari at the front desk was so helpful and provided great customer service. The other staff were great as well. I enjoyed the city and the view while staying here. The roof top is very beautiful (night and day). Great food options near by as well.

Excellent stay! My wife and I visited Alexandria for the first time and were unsure about which hotel we wanted to stay. We were both extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of our room and the professionalism of each staff member we encountered. We will return for the holidays and can’t wait to book at this location again!

This was my first time staying at this hotel and I will 100% be back every time I am in the area. The cleanliness of the rooms, the "at home feel", and the staff. A staff member "Amari" was able to get me all checked in and let me know every needed to make my stay more enjoyable.

Hotel Heron is great, there were a couple hiccups that made me stop from saying amazing but they are a new hotel and the way the front desk handled it with upmost care and attention was something you don't see a lot nowadays. I asked a lot of questions and not once did the ladies at the front desk get annoyed and were always ready to help me find the answer if they did not know it. Costumer service is hard especially when you have a line of people wanting to check in and in a hurry but they fixed my issue and did not even rush me to get to the next person. I felt like they cared and truly wanted to help and even gave me a free drink token for the hassle. The hotel is great because of the staff they hired.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Heron! My room was immaculate, and the location was perfect—right in the heart of Old Town Alexandria! The customer service was AMAZING! I was greeted with a great smile from the front desk receptionist, Amari! Not only was she accommodating, but she also gave me some great recommendations on what to do in the city. Overall, it was a great experience!

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. The bedding and towels were luxurious. The room and facility was spotless. The staff was superb, both the night and day staff. Alana took great care to make sure everything went well. The free coffee and good food was a plus. I highly recommend this hotel. Very close to King St which has great shops and restaurants as well as the wharf area.

Really enjoyed our stay in this new hotel in Alexandria. The rooftop bar was fun, we kept warm with the softest blankets I've ever had. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. A little street noise but nothing my white noise machine couldn't handle. The location was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful when trying to figure out where to eat for the evening. Already looking forward to our next stay.
