The best part of this hotel is the staff. They are so friendly and helpful. I had a terrible time with the keys. The very first time I checked in I went to my room and came right back to the counter three times because the keys would not work. Other than being a little frustrating that was no big deal. However in my first room, the TV did not work. Also, I could never get in to the side door and always had to walk around. Was this a terrible place to stay? Noooo… but don’t expect much.

Not worth the money. Front desk lady is rude. Our door didn’t work half the time, TV didn’t work, side door cut my heel from a piece of metal sticking out, have to wait to get pool towels from front desk lady- which she acted like it was an inconvenience. All you can hear is the trucks/ vehicles drive on the interstate - if your room is on the north side of the building. Needs a lot of updating for the price you pay to stay there.

Run down and room remodeling in progress. Our first room assignment was not accessible and the second room had a strong chemical odor with onl 2 of 5 light fixtures operational. We were too tired to complain and try to get a better room so we just used what we brought with us and went to bed hoping we would have a better stay at our next destination.

The breakfast was far below even normal hotel standards. The gut rot burritos they served for breakfast were half hard half damp.

The hotel isn’t what I’d expect from a La Quinta. upon check in, the lobby looked good I moved my car and came in by the elevator….that hallway was truly sketchy, dirty and gross. The elevator was dirty. Thankfully, the 5th floor rooms were recently renovated. But they used some old nearly broken furniture. One lamp was so dirty it was greasy in one spot. (I take wipes no matter what hotel) One bed looked like it had been slept in. The other had visible wine stains on the mattress. (I’m assuming they were wine stains). All the hallways were littered with dirt and paper. My room key would make the lock go green, but I had to get the maintenance guy to help me get in. (Just pull it up and push quickly). It takes me about 4 times before I can get in). I mentioned to the maintenance guy (who looks and sounds a little like Raymond Cruz from “the closer”), that I was surprised how dirty the hallways were. He said he had just gotten back and thanked me profusely for bringing it up. Apparently the cleaning staff wasn’t doing their job. The maintenance guy promptly got a vacuum and cleaned the halls. He was the only staff person who seemed to care. This is right by the freeway, so there is too much traffic noise….they should have built it with better windows, but that said, something seems wrong here. Management doesn’t seem to care, cleaning staff is sloppy at best. I’m surprised it still has the La Quinta franchise name. The remodel won’t do anything if management doesnt insure it’s kept up and spotless. Remodeled rooms do not have adequate plugs near the beds. I had to Unplug the clock to Plug in my cpap. There were a few plugs on the desk. Brand new bathroom already has mold in seams I had read the pool was nice, and it truly is, it was just too cold for me to use. So I get my bill (see pic). It shows an expensive candy bar which I did purchase and an $11 room charge. They said that was the tax. They have the tax listed. Clearly this place needs a bit of help. Such a shame. It could be a great hotel but it seems to be run by absentee owners

Worst experience ever. The room was so noisy, it was like trying to sleep on the actual interstate. The toilet was dirty,Doors slamming in the hallway. We checked in at 1930 hours it’s now 0030 and I drove from Scottsdale AZ about 8 hours on the road with 2 hours of it in construction on I 40 in Arizona. I have stayed my last time in a LaQuinta because of this experience. Do yourself a favor and pass this place up. I’m not a complainer unless I have a good reason. TripAdvisor send one of your raters here and see for yourself. My 1 star rating is only because it’s a required field 0 stars is not an option.

Only one towel in a room for 4 people. No microwave or refrigerator. Blankets were the thickness of a sheet. Mattress had stains, trash overflowing on to floor of vending room. Pool and hot tub was full of leaves. Locked and closed.

Everything was very good for the price and freeway accesibility. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The the staff were very kind and helpful. Overall a 3 star facility that has comfort and convenience.
