Good place for an overnight stay during our cross country road trip. Breakfast selection was great, offering moist omelettes and crispy bacon. If you’re looking for nearby food & drinks, check out 12th Street Tavern located 5mins walk from the hotel

A typical Holiday Inn Express. Our room was quite nice. My major complaint was that the Wi-Fi in our room was TERRIBLE. The connection, such as it was, was spotty and extremely slow. We’re talking download speed of .09! I finally gave up and used the hotspot from my cell phone. It’s inexcusable to have such bad WiFi these days.

The WiFi is completely unusable at this property. I complained to the front desk at least three separate times, and each time, the front desk agents falsely claimed that I was the only guest experiencing WiFi problems. In fact, while I was complaining, another guest behind me in line told the front desk agent, Craig, that she also dealt with incredibly slow WiFi. I couldn't connect to the WiFi at all during each of the four evenings, and during the morning/afternoon, the connection would come in and out (which Craig later acknowledged after I finally got the front desk to call the hotel's IT supplier). It was NEVER possible to do Zoom calls for my entire 4 nights, making the stay a disaster for me as I was traveling on business. The worst part is that the front desk didn't even proactively offer compensation after all my complaints about the WiFI, with Craig saying IHG doesn't allow them to have faster WiFi. Craig did promise me that the GM Cheyenne would get back to me to address my complaint, and yet 4 days later, I have yet to hear from her. I do not understand why only one person can issue compensation at this hotel (it's a sign of poor management when the GM doesn't empower her staff to take care of problems), and why the hotel intentionally gaslights its customers by denying the WiFi problems when even the IT supplier admits there's a problem.
