Quiet area, rooms were ok only stayed one night with 2 cats while on our way to Tucson. The staff was very friendly. But the cats didn’t seem to like it lol

The hotel and staff were outstanding. ******* dropped the ball. ******* didn't pay for my hotel after making my reservation through the website. I had to stand at the Hilton check-in counter for 20 minutes while ******* figured out how they screwed up and how to fix it. Miserable experience. I doubt I'll be using ******* again. I felt like a hobo begging for money to pay for my hotel. Never again!

I booked a reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque/Journal Center for the 2025 Balloon Feist. Unlike most reservation there was a Refundable partial payment required. Refundable as long as you cancel 30 day prior to the reservation. I found another Hilton closer to the event, so I cancelled the Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque/Journal Center reservation many many month of the deadline to cancel. The reservation was made on 11/18/2024, cancellation was made on 11/27/2024. Weeks later I have not received my refund. When I contact the hotel about the refund they claimed in a voice mail that they had no record of the reservation. The response was obviously scripted, because when I called them directed the the response was verbatim the from the voice mail. When I tried to ask him to look up the confirmation number he kept interrupting me, telling me their confirmation numbers started with a specific number and not the number he was given, which was a case number and not the confirmation number on the original reservation. When I finally got him to listen and gave him the confirmation number, he immediately said they didn't have it. His response was so quick he didn't have time to enter it, let alone look it up. I gave up and called the corporate customer support. They confirmed all the information I had provided. They claim they contacted the Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque/Journal Center general manager. While the corporate customer service has been polite and somewhat responsive, there still hasn't been any progress on getting my refund. I've never experienced a hilton hotel with the totally unprofessional customer service as the Hilton Garden Inn Albuquerque/Journal Center. After researching customer reviews there are a number of really bad reviews from people who actually stayed there.
