The location is great, however there is party going on every day until 11, which makes it impossible to rest before 11. We also found lice in the room.

Couldn't fault it, especially as we were there when a major power outage happened in the country, yet the staff coped so well and pulled out all the stops given the circumstances. Location was perfect, as were the staff, food and facilities, great value too. We would return definitely.

The hotel is around a half an hour drive from anywhere big like old town or new town. However, this allows for quiet and it is right on the beach front. The rooms were nice, we had our own kitchen, balcony and bathroom and there wasn’t much for us to complains about regarding the room. The pool bar was open from 10.00am-6pm and the hotel main bar was open from 10.30am-11.00pm. All the staff were extremely friendly. It’s cheap for a reason, the decoration wasn’t very updated or modern but that’s not to say it wasn’t nice. The food was very mediocre, a lot of it we didn’t like and the other customers seemed to be this way too. We lived off bread and pasta for most of the holiday. The breakfasts were amazing though. The night time activities were very confusing, there is a board by reception which tells you what’s going on but the timings are never correct and you don’t get what you’re told you’re going to get. Everything was quite clean, house keeping came to the rooms every day and were very friendly. The beach next to the resort was not all inclusive however and we were charged €20 for one sun bed!! The pool was crowded due to this and everyone was fuming over the prices and the rudeness of the man charging for them. All in all, it’s a lovely place to stay and I would most likely stay again, definitely a couple things I could complain about but not worth staying away from the place.

We arrived at the Monica Isabel beach club on the 9th of may 2025, upon arrival you can tell the hotel is Extremely outdated with not much to reception. Check in was fairly easy, as was finding our rooms. Again rooms very outdated, seems clean enough. Large balcony and comfy beds is nice. We went for the all inclusive and was good, breakfast is nice, however they serve same options for lunch and dinner which gets old after a day or two. Location of the hotel is brilliant. Right on the beach front which have a lovely beach bar, and only a £2 uber to get into the old or new town !!!!! We really enjoyed that part. Lots of shops/ food delivery places to if your ever hungry for a cheap price. The pool area was a no go for us. Tiny cramped area with every sunbed squished together, full of big groups of chavvy men and women shouting all day. We just went to the beach instead and it was a much better environment. Sunbeds at the beach cost 15 euros per couple per day which isn’t to bad either. We also took a boat trip which was really easy to book from the hotel to. The snack bar isn’t worth going to. None of the hotel staff speak any form of English so trying to communicate with them over anything is next to impossible. The evening entertainment is good and gets everyone in involved at the reception bar which is nice and funny to watch. Overall this hotel is good, and can usually get it for a cheap price as well. If your looking for a cheap short getaway you won’t be disappointed, however I wouldn’t book my 2 week luxury holiday here as the people it attracts and some of the services make it not worth it! Probably would not return here but have enjoyed the stay anyways!
