3HB Golden Beach

We are currently staying at this hotel and we are having a wonderful time. We were upgraded in check in from a one bedroom sea view, to a three bedroom se view. The rooms are absolutely spotlessly clean! There is plenty of wardrobe space and the kitchen is very modern with every appliance you could ask for. On arrival you are given a bag, which contained milk, biscuits, crackers and also a reusable water bottle for each guest. This can be filled up at the water station in reception. There was air conditioning in every room too, along with a tv. The staff were all very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. The pool area is on the small side, but very well maintained. There is a small pool bar that has great food, drinks and a happy hour every day. There is even live music. There is a beautiful beach right next to the hotel with some lovely bars and restaurants. If you walk to the left of the beach, there are loads of little secluded spots, but they do suck me to the tide by the afternoon. There are plenty of supermarkets within walking distance and the. The famous new town ***** is at the top of the hill a few minutes walk away. Albufeira old town is just over a mile away and costs around €5 in a taxi or €10-15 in a tuk tuk, which we have done once as a treat for our boys. Old town is much bigger with lots going on and plenty of choices to eat. My only slight grumble would be the noise from the street with the young party goers. The hotel is located far enough from the ***** to not be impacted by noise from the bars, but when the revellers return to their hotels between 4am and 6am it can be very loud and we have been woken up each morning by this so far. This is something that can’t be helped though, and part and parcel of staying in the busier area. Overall it is a fantastic hotel and we all agreed as a family that we would return.

I would totally recommend this property for a relaxing holiday. The room we had overlooked the pool and had a sea view, it was very quiet and the balcony was very private. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were very polite. When we arrived our room was ready and the lady at reception explained where everything was. She gave us a beach bag with milk, biscuits and water bottles in.

I loved my stay here, comfortable, beach nearby, close to stores and restaurants, aircon and WiFi very good, I have not stayed anywhere as friendly as this in a long time, all of the staff were kind and the cleaners looked happy in their jobs thank you all for a great holiday I will absolutely be back

A lovely place. Apartment 19 was spacious with everything you could need and a beautiful view. So many nice touches, the welcome bag when you check in , the water station at reception, a coffee machine in the apartment, 2 tvs , free air con and a room safe and a large balcony area with stunning views down to the sea . One small thing ,I would have liked a shelf in the shower to put toiletries on , (even though you do provide some , it is nice to bring some of your own and there is nowhere to put these.) The whole place is kept very clean and a special mention for Joaquina from housekeeping who kept our apartment spotless throughout our stay and always had a lovely smile. They all work hard here , and it shows. All the staff at reception were welcoming and helpful , a lovely friendly place , couldn't be better. There is a little pool bar serving drinks and snacks and a lifeguard on duty at the pool. The only negative is the steep hill that Golden Beach is located on , so not for anyone with mobility problems, but the hill is what gives it such spectacular views ! At least the supermarket is only a few metres away , as are several restaurants and the pretty beach. We would like to thank everyone for giving us a great holiday. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a 1 week trip. We had a wonderful room number 10, it had amazing views, you could see the sea, right by the pool. The room was Immaculate, spotless, enormous shower and rooms, best apartment we have stayed in, everyone works hard and are so frienly.cleaners work non stop. Reception booked taxis for us into the old town about 7-8 euros, beach at old town lovely. There is also a hop-on train up the hill, right at the roundabout says number 4 bus stop- near Donaldos restaurant day ticket 6 eoros. that will take you into old town and you can tour around, hop on and off. This is near the new town, which is very busy and manic ( stags and hens) but very little was heard from our room, theres afew nice restaurants 2 mins away right on the beach. So you dont need to go far, 2 little mini markets in walking distance, pool bar food was good and reasonable price open until 7 at night, life guard on site, always got a bed by the pool. Would 100% reccommend if you want to stay in albufeira 👍😁
