Boa Vista Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

Good location within walking distance to restaurants and stores. Lovely sea/pool/street view depending on what floor your room is. Delicious and expansive buffet breakfast. We made the booking through a third party. When we arrived there, the first thing was the check-in time was until 4 pm, excuse me? Ok we left our bags we went for lunch and we came back later for the check in, when we arrived at 4.10, the girl at the reception (Ana) if I recall correctly, she was very attentive and nice, opposite of her manager “Hugo” he didn’t even know what was going on …. Anyway, we came to Albufeira because it was our anniversary, and surprise! We were given a room with separate beds, which btw were cricking… the the table outside was dirty, and the AC was hanging in the wall with sellotape, I decided to go with the flow and not making a scene of that. You have to pay 10 euros per towel to go to the pool, safe, for pretty much everything, I am not really happy about the treatment we got towards our reservation, every vendor should be as important as any others, we got potentially one of the worst rooms. Ohhh forgot to tell you if you bring drinks or food from outside you might have to pay a fee for that. My anniversary after all wasn’t as good as I expected but I tried to enjoy it, this hotel holds 4 starts, but to me this hotel should be 2 tops, the breakfast is ok, not much of variety but good, service from the staff in the restaurant, great. The road beating the hotel is being replaced with new concrete, be aware of it if you wanna book it because is going to be far from a quiet place.
