We stayed in a one bed basic appartment (block 10) for our 10 day b&b family holiday. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, cleaned everyday, all the staff are wonderfully friendly. Pool is of ample size. No inflatables which is a nice change. The steps to the beach are not as bad as they sound. Plenty of stopping point to admire the beautiful view. Thank you for making our holiday so wonderful. 🙏

There is only one complaint I have about staying here - it wasn't long enough!! We stayed for a week 8 - 15 July and could not believe how relaxing and tranquil the hotel was. All the staff are brilliant and friendly, they can't do enough for you. We stayed in Block 14 and had a side sea view. The room was a standard one and not one of the updated ones, but we loved it. It's a great size for a couple and felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, which I know it is but some we have stayed in have been tiny, this was great. It was cleaned every day by the best room staff ever, with fresh towels. The safe was free as well and the pool/beach towels. The steps down to the beach aren't that bad and there is a restaurant down there, where you can have snacks/drinks/ice creams or a proper sit down lunch. Sunbeds are 20 euros with a canopy. We will definitely return as it is a gem of a place. Thanks to all the staff

Stayed for 4 nights 2 adults and 2 teenagers The area itself is very dull - nothing around, quite run down but the hotel itself is beautiful The hotel was not full we arrived just before midday after a 2 hour transfer with jet2 :( The check in is 4pm with this hotel which I hadn’t prepared for - so pulling everything out of cases in reception and changing in a toilet was not my idea of fun - I haven’t ever waited that long for a room. So we finally got our room at 4 I also didn’t think it was this big there are lots of rooms we were in block 13 The room was perfect - massive - spotless but very far away from pool Pool area is just like pictures and the scenery is picturesque Food/ staff all very good Very tranquil and everywhere spotless Not enough going on for us and you have Uber everywhere - no coastal walks - you can walk to other resorts but not nice walks Just not for us

This hotel did not disappoint. Beautiful location, lovely pool area with plenty of beds, gorgeous beach. Staff very friendly, always welcoming and very professional. Food is amazing! Great selection, everyone catered for. Everything is very fresh and a good variety. I really felt like all the staff took great pride in what they do and in trying to make your holiday experience as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We stayed in a standard apartment which was perfectly fine, very comfortable with everything you need. Plenty of space, cleaned daily and towels and bed linen always fresh. White Sangria became our drink of choice here…….absolutely delicious. We had a really fantastic mini break here and would definitely recommend.

Arrived Wednesday before the start of the UK school holidays (May) for one week with kids aged 3 and 8. It was brilliant. The place is clearly geared up and staffed for much higher numbers, staff were gorgeously friendly and fantastic with the kids, food was perfect - different every day, with lots of choices that worked for us all. We stayed in the deluxe sea view apartment, the view was amazing, the apartment was spotless, cleaned every day, easy to use safe in the room, little kitchenette perfect for making lunches/snacks for the kids, hot powerful shower, comfortable beds - we all slept well. We didn’t turn on the big tv. The weather was perfect - hot and dry every day (too hot in the sun), think late 20s, sometimes with a warm breeze. The pool was super clean and it was hard to get the kids out of it. It was not heated and we had read that earlier in the year it would be cold so we brought rash vests for us and wetsuits for the kids - kept us all warm and stopped us from burning in the water, lots of people said they wished they had done the same. We took favourite pool toys and there are local touristy shops five mins away where you can buy pool toys, no ball games in the pool. You can swap pool towels at the pool, and take pool towels to the beach (you don’t need to bring towels). There is a small supermarket around 10 mins walk away which had everything we needed, and a pharmacy 5 mins walk away - we needed bug spray and bite cream as we had the odd bite during the week. The beach is beautiful, nice short private walk down from the hotel, and it was not busy, lots of parasols/loungers to rent at 20 euros for the day for a double - you can pick up a parasol in the touristy shops for around 10 euros so recommend doing that on the first day if your going to be on the beach a lot, it is very very hot in the sun, even in May. We brought wetsuits for the sea which was around the same temperature as Cornwall (where we live) in the summer. Surfboards to hire for 15 euros with small surf at low tide perfect for messing around with the kids. There is a nature walk from one of the neighbouring hotels to another beach with no amenities but it was beautifully deserted, great snorkelling, and you could walk along to the main beach at mid to low tide. We did the dolphin and caves boat trip from vilamoura instead of albufeira (apparently they are very similar trips) which was fab - it was our only day trip, we were happy exploring the immediate area and hanging out at the pool. Vilamoura marina was a bit touristy - lots of people day drinking but I think there was a sporting event on so maybe we were unlucky. It was 20 euros to Vilamoura by taxi, or you can walk along the beach - it’s around 5km Finally the atmosphere was chill and friendly, nice chill evening entertainment which we only made it to for 2 of the nights as the kids were ready for bed after dinner. This is the second time we have stayed here and we love it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The food is good and much better than you would expect for a hotel buffet. We are staying in a sea view deluxe apartment and it is immaculate. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped and there is plenty of room for us (2 adults and a preteen). A bonus is that the beds are comfy! We’re surprised that it’s still graded as a 3 star hotel. We’ve stayed in much worse 4 star hotels!
