Albufeira Hotels with Bars

The problem with this hotel is the management. The hotel is very big and the route sign is not clear. I was lucky to find the room after walking for 30 minutes. And the breakfast information is wrong, the parking information is wrong. These problems should be improved through management, and good results should be obtained.

The hotel is big and has several attractions, from indoor and outdoor pools and animation, gym, playground, all very good. Positive points - impeccable cleanliness, friendliness of staff, hot water, small appliances that were old but worked perfectly, cable TV with several channels. Negative points- the furniture is old, the mattresses are uncomfortable, at the reception I was attended by an inexperienced person and was being charged twice the value of the extra bed, very weak internet, we never managed to get a signal during our stay. A lot to improve for a good comfort of the guests.

We are glad that we booked this hotel. The beach view was breathtaking and remarkable. Not to mention its excellent location where the old town cobbled street is just right in front of the hotel. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast where they offered great selections and indeed one of the best breakfasts we've tried in our Portugal trip. Hotel staff were mostly friendly, especially those in the restaurant, except for the housekeeping staff who refused to give us extra drinking water on the next morning even before we checked out.

Visited on the 23rd July for a week with my partner and 3 year old daughter. The staff at the reception were amazing, the apartments big enough very comfy beds big bathroom , two balconies , air conditioning in bedroom and sitting room which was badly needed as it was very hot, indoor pool and outdoor pools. 24/7 shop and this lovely lady that was Serving such a kind person. Wish I known her name so I would mention her on here. There’s a lot of young people even tho I’m only 32 but this holiday was a family holiday so we weren’t into partying etc , the noise level of people screaming at 5am was out of order ( I know it’s not a hotel fault) thankfully my daughter sleeps thru any loud noise. If your children not sleeping well I wouldn’t go there. NO OFFENCE! - the lifts they need improvement very slow and very little space. - the oven ( I will post a picture) was just beside the door which has the bin in it, but that’s not a problem, the problem was that I couldn’t open the oven because of the door. - the shower not working properly , and would leak the whole time - the toilet water kept making noises 24/7 - the ladies that were cleaning our rooms seemed to be in and out. The only thing they were doing was giving us new towels , changed bedsheets and change bins, they didint hoover the rooms , didint leave extra shampoos. I had to sweep the floor all the time. - the bar was ok I suppose , pity they close the food bar so early and all we could order was pizza for 12€ and unfortunately it’s a frozen pizza which wasn’t great at all. I know I can order take away but would be nice to have good food in place Iam staying. - wish there was a kids club as there was a lot of families in there Maybe one day management will decide to upgrade the apartments. Anyways in overall to me the most important was that my family have good fun, nice and comfy bedrooms and to have good staff. And that’s what we’ve got. Iam seriously satisfied with the staff being so amazing and kind. Thank you so much

All very well, the best thing is the location where it is located, it is located in the best place in Albufeira in the whole center around nightclubs, bars, a luxury, the area after breakfast very well, chocolate cakes, fruit, squeezed juice, bacon, the super mattress comfortable has air conditioning the room flat screen and balcony with views of all the mello of the party with soundproof glass a luxury I will return 😃😃

Having read previous reviews I was open minded about this hotel, we are just back after an amazing week there. I will start with the negative which is rather brief....2 negatives..... room was a bit outdated & could do with a general refurb & the lack of snacks at the pool, not even a packet of crisps. Positives are numerous, room was functional & had all the essential amenities. Bed was comfy & we had all that we needed. Staff were in general courteous & helpful, polite & professional. Location is really good, less than a 10 minute walk to the ***** and the Oura beach. Close to some beautiful restaurants & cocktail bars. Overall we would recommend a visit here, the good definitely outweighs the bad. Pool is amazing too 🏊‍♀️

Have been here numerous times. Recommend it for its cleanliness, location and friendly staff, particularly in both pool and main bar. No nonsense in the morning racing for beds, although have experienced this on previous visits particularly in July. September ideal time to go, both in terms of climate and calmness ( mostly adults and a few toddlers). Rooms are very clean and are cleaned every day and towels changed every day. We had a pool view studio, which whilst not the roomiest was ideal for 2 and you could walk from the room o we the patio straight to the pool. The one bed pool view apartments are really good and roomy, but on this occasion we felt that it was wasn’t worth another £500. Notice that the Hotel doesn’t do evening meals anymore and as we were self catering, we did not have breakfast in the hotel, preferring the excellent Riviera next door. There is a huge ASDA type supermarket next door which is 1st class. Used the pool bar many times during our stay for drinks and lunch, reasonably priced with good selection of food and drinks. The staff were 1st class. Overall we had a great stay and will go back again, however did feel it was a little expensive, booked through Jet2 and over £3000 for 14 nights self catering was a Bit toppy, don’t know if this is a Jet2 issue or theHotel’s, but would suspect tho would put some off. Just one major gripe, which has been the case for a few years with this Hotel. When paying at the poll Bar and Bar Algarve( the main Bar). They don’t accept card payments, which in this day and age is pretty inconvenient. Not o my that, when paying by cash, you need to ‘feed’ your into a machine, find this system quite ‘clunky’ and would suggest the payment methods at bothers bars should be reviewed. Other than that, had a great time and will be back soon.

Breakfast buffet is super invincible and delicious! Especially fruit selection is especially great! The hotel will take the initiative to help parking is free. Hotel dinner is not recommended for single or buffet, the taste is very general, the ingredients are not too fresh. The sea view room has a beautiful sunrise view of the sea on the west side of the sunrise. Also saw the double rainbow! The on-site walking trail is also very convenient to walk to the sandy beach of Sao Rafeal. In the morning, it is empty and there is no one, just like enjoying a private beach. The only downside is that the spa is charged separately by number of people, and the free swimming pool also has to buy a swimming cap to enter.

The balcony can see a beautiful beach, not many tourists in the off-season. The rooms are slightly older and overall a good holiday choice.

If you want a luxury hotel, don’t book this one!!! I wanted a cheap sunshine break after all the bad weather in the U.K. this summer and having come back from a luxury hotel in Majorca I checked this out. I’ll be honest, the rooms aren’t great but we came for sun so wasn’t in the room for a lot of the time so that was fine. We had 2 single beds and a Juliette balcony overlooking the Main Street, some would complain of noise, it didn’t bother us. Rooms were cleaned/beds made 2 out of the 3 days we were there. Added bonus was having kitchen area with a fridge/kettle etc. I’d read the bad reviews before we went and I was dubious, but I’d say if your after a cheap bit of sunshine and somewhere to sleep/shower this place is a good base - as long as you aren’t expecting luxury!!! The location is fantastic. We were a little worried about checking out after reading about the random reception opening hours, but sure enough there was someone there at 3am to take our key and refund the deposit we paid - **please be aware this is €200, which shocked us as we weren’t informed til we got there - we paid it as they wouldn’t budge, but it was back in my bank within 3 days** I would return if I could get a good price again, location is perfect and we met some lovely people round the roof pool. If your not fussy you’ll be fine here. Also all the lads we met on reception were lovely and super helpful x
