Excellent location in a very secure area near the airport that is difficult to reach on foot, but at low taxi rates. Easy check-in in the middle of the night with the help of the taxi driver. Nice room, but the bed smelled a bit musty and I had some problems with bed bugs. Good shower and WiFi and spacious living area. Satisfied based on price/quality ratio.

About 2km from the airport, it is good for people having a morning flight. The room is very basic, but there's a kitchen. It is not far from the town center as well as a Walmart and a mall.

This hotel is very close to the San Jose airport. It’s extremely clean, the people there were very nice. The hotel room I had was very large and very convenient. With a private bathroom. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re going to be coming into San Jose via the airport and you want a hotel to stay for a night or two before moving on, this would be a great place to stay.

This is a very cultural experience. Now, first, walk down the hill to check in. Be prepared, this is like a college dormitory. It ain't the Ritz. It's traditional Costa Rican housing. These people are soon sweet and kind. Home-cooked authentic breakfast in their dining room, he even climbed a tree and provided fresh mama. Amazing. It is in Alajuela, close to airport and downtown, but you will need Ubers. The hotel does have bicycles you can ride, but it's not close to much. However, Uber is soon handy and cheap in Costa Rica, you'll be fine. Loved this place....not for amenities, but for the hosts.
