Waad Al Ula Hotel is a well maintained, spotless, cozy friendly place to stay while visiting Al Ula. The rooms are large, with a sitting area, little kitchenette. The bed is very comfortable, had great nights sleep. Great for any time of groups, family friendly, solo travellers. Great public spaces, roof top views are amazing. A well manicured little garden in the back where you could sit outside was really nice to enjoy a morning coffee. Service is personalised, very helpful and accommodating. Khalid Khafagy the owner , demonstrated great hospitality, generosity, Helping with other arrangements including guided visits of the sites in Al Ula. He is very knowledgeable and offered impeccable local knowledge, insiders look. I highly highly recommend staying at Waad Al Ula Hotel for guests groups, families, solo travellers, couples. Banyan Tree Alula is truly one of the most incredible places I’ve ever been to! The level of luxurious service I received was unmatched. Every staff member is genuine and goes above and beyond to make you feel special. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views, and every detail of the resort is magical. Special thanks to Dhaher, Rand, Mootaz, Wael, George, Mohammed, Adel, Noaman, and the yoga instructor (sorry, I forgot her name 🥲). You all made our stay unforgettable! The entire Banyan Tree Al Ula team made us feel like we were at home. During our time in Al Ula, we had the pleasure of being guided by Eyad (@AlulaGuide), who was an incredible tour guide. He accompanied us throughout our journey and was the kindest gentleman. PS. If you’re an Arabic speaker, I highly recommend booking your stargazing experience with Majid—the hotel can arrange it for you!

The room was smaller than expected. If you go to the restaurant for breakfast early, you can only order food, not buffet. I am not used to it. The next day, I went at 7:30 and it was a buffet breakfast, which was quite rich. You can call a shuttle bus in the hotel. I waited for 20 minutes before leaving. The front desk called several times and kept urging me. They kept saying that they were on the way. There was less than 500 meters in total. If it wasn't for the sandy land with luggage, they wouldn't have called the shuttle bus. In the end, I couldn't wait and walked halfway with my luggage before the shuttle bus came. There were also strange animals in the room.

Am so glad I choose Cloud 7 Residence. I am a solo traveler to AlUla and I don't drive. Prior to my trip, i notice that quite a number of hotels/B&Bs do not offer meals and there are no restaurants nearby. Cloud & Residence has its own restaurant and therefore, it saves the trouble of looking for food. All staff there are very friendly and super helpful. Wifi works well. Hope I can visit again.

I was a bit worried about staying at the hotel with no electricity, taking into account dark rooms and lack of heater, but my experience went above and beyond any expectations. It is perfectly located in one part of the old town, right in the middle of everything. The rooms were comfortable, picture perfect and warm (I arranged for a heater). Staff was kind, attentive and very helpful. Food at the restaurant was delicious. I couldn't have wished for a better accommodation.

The hotel's various charges are unreasonable: the average per capita consumption for dining is 500 RMB per meal, and a bottle of Coke in the minibar is 70 RMB per bottle. It costs 230 RMB to drive from the hotel to Maraya in 5 minutes, but it's free if you stay at Banyan Tree next door. I didn't stay at Banyan Tree, but just went there for a meal, and they could send me back to Habitats for free. The most speechless thing is that when the hotel was not in the room, when they moved my suitcase to the shelf, they might have directly pulled the suitcase from the ground, and the zipper was broken. As a result, when I negotiated with them, they said that the zipper might be broken by itself and would not be broken when moving. It's not a big deal, but I feel that their attitude is to shirk responsibility first and not apologize sincerely. I suggest that if you live in the Banyan Tree next door, you can come to this restaurant to have a meal and just look at the swimming pool. And I had two meals at Banyan Tree, it was really delicious

I believe it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. The hotel is simply special. The room is a luxurious cabin surrounded by huge rocks and artistic installations. From check in to check out, everything is incredible. The pool is located at the top with a panoramic view of the resort. Everything is done by bicycle or electric car. There are several tours around the hotel. Incredible
