Cloud 7 Residence AlUla
4.1/56 Reviews
The room has a small living room, but the bedroom is too small, the bed is only 1.3 meters, it is impossible to sleep two people. So we had to sleep on the sofa. The bedding is very poor and the facilities are simple. The hotel is not far from the airport and town, and the staff's service attitude is very good. The price of 3000 in peak season is the only choice, otherwise don't come
Caravan by Habitas AlUla

- Setting and landscape is remarkable - Hardware and aesthetic design features are excellent - However, service is quite lackluster and the property is quite overpriced. - Banyan Tree is the much higher/more-luxurious choice in Alula - Hotel often doesn't pick up the phone, often does not respond to requests, responds to it's whatsapp hotline maybe 20% of the time and almost always very late. Guests are often just forgotten. - Transportation situation is bad; getting around is very difficult, and car service is severely overpriced and disorganized. - Hotel seems overloaded and severely understaffed. - Buggy service often gets forgotten, requests are not tracked or followed up on. - Some staff members are very good; others are not very capable. - In general, service is not refined and not personal. - Feels like a mass market property, as compared to bespoke luxury. - Service is the big hole and needs to be significantly improved. - Hotel is quite expensive and overpriced as compared to overall experience

Compared to the Banyan Tree, the facilities are a bit outdated, but the service and the sanitary environment are great! The hotel also has many interesting experiences and facilities, such as trampolines, swings, starry sky cinemas, valley yoga, etc... The sculptures scattered in every corner of the valley are also very interesting.
Shaden Resort

The room was smaller than expected. If you go to the restaurant for breakfast early, you can only order food, not buffet. I am not used to it. The next day, I went at 7:30 and it was a buffet breakfast, which was quite rich. You can call a shuttle bus in the hotel. I waited for 20 minutes before leaving. The front desk called several times and kept urging me. They kept saying that they were on the way. There was less than 500 meters in total. If it wasn't for the sandy land with luggage, they wouldn't have called the shuttle bus. In the end, I couldn't wait and walked halfway with my luggage before the shuttle bus came. There were also strange animals in the room.
Waad Al Ula Hotel

Waad Al Ula Hotel is a well maintained, spotless, cozy friendly place to stay while visiting Al Ula. The rooms are large, with a sitting area, little kitchenette. The bed is very comfortable, had great nights sleep. Great for any time of groups, family friendly, solo travellers. Great public spaces, roof top views are amazing. A well manicured little garden in the back where you could sit outside was really nice to enjoy a morning coffee. Service is personalised, very helpful and accommodating. Khalid Khafagy the owner , demonstrated great hospitality, generosity, Helping with other arrangements including guided visits of the sites in Al Ula. He is very knowledgeable and offered impeccable local knowledge, insiders look. I highly highly recommend staying at Waad Al Ula Hotel for guests groups, families, solo travellers, couples. Thank you for an amazing stay.
Banyan Tree AlUla
4.7/543 Reviews
Banyan Tree Alula is truly one of the most incredible places I’ve ever been to! The level of luxurious service I received was unmatched. Every staff member is genuine and goes above and beyond to make you feel special. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views, and every detail of the resort is magical. Special thanks to Dhaher, Rand, Mootaz, Wael, George, Mohammed, Adel, Noaman, and the yoga instructor (sorry, I forgot her name 🥲). You all made our stay unforgettable! The entire Banyan Tree Al Ula team made us feel like we were at home. During our time in Al Ula, we had the pleasure of being guided by Eyad (@AlulaGuide), who was an incredible tour guide. He accompanied us throughout our journey and was the kindest gentleman. PS. If you’re an Arabic speaker, I highly recommend booking your stargazing experience with Majid—the hotel can arrange it for you!
