Club Kantaoui May 2025 This is an honest and truthful review about Club Kantaoui, Port El Kantaoui, Tunisia I come to this hotel every year and maybe twice a year and yes it could do with some upgrading with the bathrooms and amenities but for value for money you cannot beat it. When arriving the reception staff are helpful with the check in and will answer any questions you may have. The porters will take your luggage to your room so you know where you are going to be. Most rooms that I know have mini fridges and TVs with some English channels. Some rooms also have three beds in them so are ideal for families. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels are also changed if used put them into the bath and they will be changed. The maids will also leave a bottle of water in the room for you so you don't have to pay for it. There are also small bottles of shampoo and shower gel for your usage if you need to use them and if used just ask the maid for some more and they will refill them for you. There is a kids club for the little ones and through the summer you will have outdoor entertainment most nights. The animation team do try their best but sometimes not a lot of takers when the hotel is quiet. There is an indoor gym which is fully equipped but this does have a local charge payable at reception. The massage facilities are good where you can get a body scrub and massage for around £30. There are different massages available to suit everyone with their own prices. The indoor pool is ideal for an early morning swim and is open from 8am until 6pm daily. The quiet times tend to be around 8 until 9.30 and 1.00pm when everyone is in at lunch. The two pool guards will supply you with sunloungers and the mattresses are 2 dinar daily, the pool towels have a deposit of 20 dinars and is refundable upon return of the towels. The outdoor bar is open from 8am and the waiters will bring you what you ask them for. On site there is also a manicurist/pedicurist and is a lot cheaper than at home. In the summer months there is a beach restaurant and beach bar available so you don't have to come back to the main restaurant at lunch. The food in the restaurant has improved greatly over the years and you do get a good selection of different foods apart from breakfast which is pretty standard across most hotels in Tunisia. The staff in there if asked will do anything for you so if something isn't there and you want something just ask and if they can they will get it for you. Sometimes the food isn't quite hot enough for me but there is a microwave that you can use to make sure it is hot enough. The guys on the bars will serve you with what you want if they have it. What I will say is get to know the staff and they will make your holiday, respect the restrictions that they may have and just be respectful towards them all and you will get the service that you would like. Tipping isn't required but I'm sure all staff would be most grateful for whatever they r
