I booked our stay at The Westin Pushkar a month in advance as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, and from the start, the experience was seamless and special. We chose an all-inclusive package that covered all meals, spa credits, and evening drinks. We'd booked a luxury villa, but were pleasantly upgraded to the Royal Villa—spacious, beautifully done, and complete with a private plunge pool. The welcome was warm and full of heart, starting with a traditional greeting with tikka, followed by a smooth and easy check-in. Special thanks to Urmila Sharma and her team for their warm hospitality. We were also greeted with delicious sweets and savouries, which set the tone for everything ahead. The birthday celebration was beautifully done—our room was decorated with balloons, flowers, a small cake, and “Happy Birthday” written across the bed. It was a lovely, heartfelt surprise. Dining was a highlight, with lavish spreads that included both local and international dishes. Chef Ashwen made a delicious Laal Maas and Ker Sangri tailored to our taste. And the F&B team—Vinod, Dina, Drishti, and Tabrez—were outstanding, guiding us through every meal with warmth and care. Evenings came alive with live music, high tea with pakoras and snacks, and kid-friendly experiences like cupcake-making and a cotton candy cart. Our daughter had a blast, and Preeti was especially wonderful with her. We also loved the Recharge Room, a private movie experience with recliners. Despite a small projector issue on one night, it was a cozy feature we really enjoyed. The gym was well-equipped, though better air-conditioning would help. The bicycles available throughout the resort were a big hit—our daughter even learned how to ride a cycle for the first time, which made for a very special memory. We both enjoyed our spa sessions, thanks to the included credits and skilled therapists who made it a truly relaxing experience. A personal favorite for me was the Splash bar, where Yash crafted wonderful drinks and offered a mixology class on our last day. He even gifted me a bar set and certificate, which was such a thoughtful surprise. Housekeeping stars—Kansing, Mohit, and Chitranjeet—made our evenings special with creative towel art, and even taught our daughter how to make them on the last day. We’d also like to thank Aman and Virendra, who supported us throughout with valet services and were especially attentive and kind during our daughter’s cycling sessions. The hotel also has a tie-up with a local Panditji, which is great for those planning to visit the Brahma Temple. Though we missed the full moon Aarti, we were grateful for the chance to connect and learn more about the spiritual side of Pushkar. While the resort had a family activity room, it was under renovation and painting during our visit. It would’ve been helpful to be informed about it in advance, but honestly, it didn’t take away from the experience. And lastly, checkout was just as memorable as the welcom
