Tai Roto Bay far exceeded my expectations. From the warm welcome upon arrival, to the extra touch of fresh picked flowers adored throughout the room, to the tropical curated breakfast, to the excellent location that is walking distance to several fantastic eateries, my only regret is not spending more time to enjoy the property. I fortunately/unfortunately had a rather aggressive itinerary with excursions planned daily. The sweet people that work at Tai Roto Bay made a point to get to know my name and familiarize themselves with my itinerary.. even asking the day after how my plans worked out. The grounds were immaculately manicured. Air con was nice and cold. Mattress was super comfy. Being a solo traveler, I often would walk back to Tai Roto bay sometimes even in the dark and couldn't feel more safe. I 100% will be staying here again and have told all my friends/family about this lovely slice of heaven.

Owned by the wonderful Cheran and her family, this hidden gem offers an unforgettable experience. Cheran is the kindest and most welcoming host, greeting you with a warm smile and always ready to assist with any activity or plans you have while in Aitutaki. You will never find another place on the island that offers such outstanding customer service—it's truly exceptional!

The rooms are gorgeous and the bed was super comfy. As well as aircon, there are the louves to allow fresh breeze into the room. Great sized deck that remains shaded if you want out of the sun. The breakfasts were scrumptious, and varied. There's plenty of deck chairs and loungers by the beach and coconut trees for shade ... beach towels are provided too. Views of the lagoon are incredible and we made good use of the paddleboards and kayaks. Accommodation is close to a couple of amazing restaurants and a cafe abt 5-10 min walk away. Can also hire a scooter direct from accommodation too. The staff were friendly and provided great service. We really enjoyed our stay ❤️

We stayed for 8 nights and loved every minute. Cheran and all the staff were so lovely. The room was large and patio also. The friendly cats were a bonus. Breakfast was so good and beautiful also. They take care in all they do from pickup and drop off to taking care of the grounds. This is a lovely place. The water does get low at low tide for a few hours but you are close to other area's. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. wish i was there now. sigh . Thanks to everyone for a lovely stay.

Beautiful location and setting. Stunning beachfront position. Cheran is an incredible hostess supported by her gorgeous friendly staff. Exactly what we needed to rest relax. Great introduction to Aitataki for our first time here Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay at Tai Roto. The location is great with nice beach, deck chairs to lounge in and walking distance to Outu Beach and restaurants. Scooter hire available on site if you did want to explore the rest of the island. Villa's were clean and spacious with beach views. Breakfast was amazing with the best smoothies! Owners and staff made us feel welcome and super friendly. Thanks for a great stay. Looking forward to coming back again and happy to recommend to anyone.

I can't say enough good things about our stay here and Aitutaki in general. I've been fortunate to go to many nice tropical vacations and this is now my favorite. Tai Roto Bay Beach Villas is on the airport side of the island. There are three restaurants within walking distance and a coffee cafe that closes mid afternoon. The facility is clean, comfortable, beautifully situated on a lagoon with a quiet beach. A short walk is a private island/hotel, with places to snorkel along the way. A really nice place to snorkel is on the opposite side of the airport. You can get there by bicycle or scooter, but we went when we had a car for the day. The beach is beautiful and empty. There are lots of shells, but there are strict rules on what and where you can gather shells. Its actually illegal to take shells out of the country without getting approval from local authorities. They just wants to make sure you aren't taking any protected shells. Taking shells is generally frowned upon as many hermit crabs need them for homes. Each morning they bring you a wonderful, healthy breakfast. Anyway, this is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are all wonderful. I highly recommend staying here. Go during the "dry" season!

Such a beautiful nurturing space to stay - from the beautiful flowers on arrival and the scrummy breakfasts, to the staff who made us welcome and were prepared to talk with us, from the loungers by the lagoon and restful spaces. The plantings are beautiful and reflects Aitutakis vibrant colours. Loved Shadow.

We spent 6 days at Tai Roto Bay Villas .and can highly recommend it . Cheran and her lovely mother and all the staff looked after us very well . Gave excellent advice and booked outings . The private beach and sunsets are exceptional ! Walking distance to restaurants and cafes .
