Great value, great room view and restaurant view. Free breakfast. Room was clean, but no air-conditioned, I guess all hotels here have none. Unfortunately the room I got is right in front above where their exhaust fan releases smoke so if I leave the room opened, the room will smell food. A lot of restaurants nearby, hotel is facing the railway, so you can get a railway view or mountain / lake view.

Nice place, excellent price. Everything in walking distance. Train is under the window it can get loud but you probably will be to tired from hikes and won’t notice it as much ! Would stay again. Thank you hotel for helping with luggage storage and being super friendly!

The tour company we used to guide us on an Incan trail trek, SAM Travel out of Cusco,.booked us into this hotel after a 6 day hike on the Salkantay and Incan trails. Our guide told us there were complaints about the noise, but our room was so loud as to be comical. There's a train station directly across the street and also a trolley line (?). The trains stop at 11 pm but they were doing some work with loud machines on the trolley line. When the workers took a break and the machine noise stopped, the large group of workers carried on in loud voices. The room was stuffy because there is no a/c, so there was a choice between tolerating the heat or opening the window, having more noise and mosquitoes get in the room. The staff was very nice, but I would advise against staying here if you're concerned about getting a good night's sleep.

Un hermoso hotel en pleno pueblo de Machu Picchu. Está sobre las vías del tren (cuando pasa suele vibrar un poco todo el establecimiento) pero es muy tranquilo y se puede descansar muy bien. Me alojé 2 noches, habitación daba al río y el sonodo del mismo era muy placentero a la hora del descanso. Ubicación, excelente a sólo metros tanto de la estación de trenes como de la parada de los buses hacia Machu Picchu. Desayunador con vistas al río. Buena limpieza y atención del personal. Recomiendo!

Very nice people at the front desk. Location is convenient but bring earplugs. It is right next to the train and since the room was stuffy we wanted to open the window. Not possible if you want to sleep. It's right next to the train. If you're a very light sleeper you might want to avoid this hotel. Otherwise, bring earplugs.

The river view rooms in this hotel are amazing! Bedroom and bath were nice also. Staff was very helpful with storing luggage for us. The breakfast was well stocked and started at 5:30 which allowed us a bite before our Machu Picchu tour. The location is on the train tracks but we had no issues with noise if on the river side.

O hotel é bem bacana, chegamos tarde porém fomos recebidos muito bem, sem enrolação, à vista do rio é linda, dormir e acordar ao som das aguas é maravilhoso. Água super quente. Conseguimos deixar as mochilas até voltarmos do passeio de Machu Picchu.

No hot water in the showers. Disappointed after a long walk to Aguas Calientes. The fan outlet also had a short and would not stay. Room was clean and breakfast was food. I think you could find a better hotel for the same money. Close to the main road/train station.
