If you drive by yourself, it is highly recommended. The hotel building is a historical building. The room interior is also very good. The courtyard is beautiful. Dinner in the open-air restaurant is very pleasant. Everywhere is beautiful for taking photos. If you have a car, it is not far to the temple and the Turkish stairs.

NOOOOOO! Not a good experience at all!! After reading 100’s of positive reviews we booked this property for a few nights while needing a place to while visiting the Temples and Scala de Turchi. We are a well traveled couple and have stayed at many different accommodations from quaint and charming B & B’a to luxurious 5 * properties.I This (hoping for charming)was NOT what we were expecting at all:/ the entrance coming up the street is in a very beat up unkept area and the front of the building non existent. Just “ugly”. When we entered there were staff in formal attire which led us to “believe” this would be more of a “service” oriented property as opposed to one with the amenities you would expect paying £158/night. Then came the room…OMG….from the second the door opened we were blasted with the smell of mold! So bad that even with the doors and windows open it wouldn’t go away, this is not just a little mold but dangerous BLACK MOLD that made us both quite sick. The breakfast was nothing special! Zero hot food and basic stale pastries and old fruit! Bed felt like cement, pillows were a joke, furnishings dated, grounds although pretty with very nice distant views were really nothing that specia !! Where are these positive reviews coming from???!! I am annoyed with both Trip Advisor as well as *********** for not verifying these reviews and steering us in the wrong direction!!! After this experience i don’t think we will ever trust” these websites again!! We headed on our journey to the next stop with a hotel rated far lower and paid £84 per night for an incredible experience!! It saved our bad “trip” and lifted our mood!! Please dont go by the reviews of this property or be prepared to be gravely disappointed:/ im sorry but i had to post this to help or stop the next person!! Couldn’t wait to leave that is how bad it was:(

My partner and I wanted to treat ourselves to a trip to Sicily, stops in Palermo, Agrigento and Catania. In Agrigento it was impossible not to go and see the Valley of the Temples, so we chose this hotel, we were thrilled on all points, the structure is excellent but perhaps the people who work there are more so, very kind and extremely friendly. They were able to competently answer any question and then dinner, what can I say, excellent, I didn't imagine a hotel restaurant was like this!
The care in the dishes served is certainly 10, they have a cook beyond all expectations, I repeat not only in cooking, but in serving, in advising, in telling and explaining the dishes, everything was not limited to excellent food but was also seasoned with that knowledge that the very kind waiters have been able to tell to simple diners.

Magnifique hôtel 4* construit dans un ancien "baglio" (espèce d'Hacienda à l'italienne), avec son ancienne tour de guet, à quelques kilomètres d'Agrigente, de la vallée des temples et de quelques très jolies plages. Accueil très chaleureux et impeccable, prestations luxueuses dans ce décor plein de charme. Restauration délicieuse ; il ne faut pas rater le diner dans le jardin, avec la vue sur les temples qui s'illuminent à la tombée du jour. Petit déjeuner plus que copieux et diversifié en buffet, dans une très belle salle. On croirait être hébergé dans un château. Chambres sympa et climatisées, literie confortable, et du calme pour bien dormir. Les serviettes sont prêtées on peut les emporter à la plage. Bar ouvert quasi non-stop, on s'installe où on veut pour siroter son spritz ou sa bière sicilienne. Vraiment remarquable

Beautiful property with an outstanding restaurant. Staff was very welcoming. Excellent breakfast with a wide variety. Some foods like olive oil and nuts are grown on site. Free parking and convenient to the Valley of Temples. No complaints!
