Agrigento Hotels with Bars

I rented a car and booked this hotel just to see the Valley Of Temples. This Hilton property was very good. They awaited for us outside, and prepared are boarding. We were welcomed with a drink. They wanted us to tour their property but we only had 1 day to stay so we said we needed to catch the VOT before sunset. I booked a junior suite which was very spacious. I think the only downside was it was near the restaurant where a talented pianist played until 10 or 11. kind of noisy, but for 1 night I was ok with it. We also ate at the restaurant that night. The food was good, but not great. Service was excellent. The view was sensational. This is a 5 star hotel where staff knows what they are doing. So overall I was very content in my stay. Very good hotel, the environment is very good, looking at the ancient Greek temple on the top of the mountain. The service is also very good. The hotel is located far from the city center, so you can stay in the hotel at night, have dinner at the hotel, and the dinner experience is very good. The breakfast was very rich and the quality was very good. It is recommended not to miss breakfast. The basic room booked is small in size and can hardly be released from the travel box, which is a bit disappointing. Since a hotel is built in such an empty place, even the basic room type is too small, and the proportion of the basic room type is very high, the accommodation experience is discounted, affecting the overall image of the hotel. In short, the room is 7 points, the environment is 9 points, dinner is 9 points, breakfast is 10 points!

My companion and I wanted to give a trip to Sicilia, Palermo, Agrigento and Catania. At Agrigento was impossible not to go to see the Valle dei Templi, so we chose this hotel, we were enthusiastic about all the points, the structure is excellent but perhaps the people working on it are the most, They were very kind and very friendly.They knew to answer any question with expertise, and then the dinner, which I could say, great, I didn't imagine the restaurant of a hotel was like that! The care in the pieces served is certainly 10, they have a cook or cook beyond any expectation, I repeat not only in cooking, but in serving, advising, telling and explaining the pieces, It was not only good food but also aware that the gentlemen of the servicemen had been able to tell simple foods. The location of the hotel is very good, and the sea view room has a beautiful view. The heating and air conditioning were not very effective. After the reaction, the hotel quickly arranged a heater. The heater is pretty good, but the sound will be a bit noisy. Others are very satisfied. Breakfast is provided for free, simple croissants and bread, and all kinds of sauces. The reception staff is very nice and enthusiastic.

By car, the hotel is free to park. On a small hill, it is very convenient to open. The room is quite big, there is a lift, the whole is the old-fashioned hotel in Europe, it is not bad, the hotel restaurant is OK, dinner and Breakfast is quite satisfactory. The hotel has a garden, which is said to be good, but these days it is very cold and there will be no shopping.

The Villa is located in the quiet, serene and romantic area with fantastic views of the Valle dei Templi and the sea, the apartments are very private and a bit further away from each other, there is a parking space in the territory. While having an authentic Sicilian breakfast in the terrace we enjoyed a calm October morning looking at the breathtaking views of the horizon under the ancient 600 year old olive trees this Villa offers its visitors (the oldest olive tree is 1200 year old!). The dinner organized at the owners' initiative, was equally memorable- we were warmly welcomed by the members of the young generation of the Villa owners to join in together for a dinner. It was an amazing experience to spend an evening together with both the old and young generations of this historic Villa owners surrounded by the exquisite night views, cozy lighting decorations, truly homemade and refined Italian food, great wine, extraordinary dessert and warm, hospitable service.

The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the Sigh Bridge. It is very close to the airport (very close to the airport water bus, about 5 minutes walk) and the train station (walk to the train station). The hotel is simple and generous, close to the river, very quiet.

We were here four nights in early October. The season was almost over but the pool was still open so we had it alone.Our room in 3.stock very large and large balcony with beautiful sea view. Breakfast was also good for Italian conditions . The staff very friendly.In 7km distance the city of Agrigent with the valley of the temple,very worth seeing. In the direct surroundings of the hotel very delicious restaurants.
