Huge estate immersed in the greenery of the Ticino hills.
Stayed to celebrate a birthday, it did not disappoint expectations
The relaxation areas outside are beautiful
The SPA area is perhaps a little small

Our stay at this so-called 5-star hotel was ruined by the disgusting allowance of cigar smoking during breakfast. The dining area was filled with thick smoke, making it impossible to enjoy our meal or even breathe comfortably. To make matters worse, when I complained, the waiter dismissed me and said, “If I work here and have to deal with this daily, so can you.” This level of disregard for guests is shocking and unacceptable. If you value your health, stay far away from this place. This was anything but a luxury experience. We won’t be returning.

Erneut wieder im traumhaft gelegenen Collina d.Oro Resort abgestiegen. Die Atmosphäre ist einfach Mystisch, Spa Facility und Gym genial. Das Morgenbuffet könnte eine Spur besser präsentiert sein, dennoch die Qualität ist topp.

Excellent location, former sanatorium totally renovated and made elegant while maintaining the touch of uniqueness. Lost in the greenery but 5 minutes from the center of Lugano. Good spa, excellent exterior with pool, hydro, pool bar and large gardens with lake view.

The stay was perfect. The room, the furnishings and the service were first class. Unfortunately, I found the atmosphere a little too cold as there were very few people there. The restaurant was also a little too elitist for my taste and eating alone isn't much fun either.

The property itself is stunning, super quiet, beautifully maintained gardens, gorgeous views etc, but the rooms are different story. They falsely advertise double rooms as 32sq m, which is an absolute lie . Our room was barely 20 sqm. Awful beds & even worse cheap bedding linen. We had only 1 pillow each, when we asked for extra pillows the same person who works as a receptionist brought us extra two even more awful quality pillows. The room quality is a real shame otherwise would be fantastic relaxing hotel.

Wonderful location in the middle of nature with a wonderful view. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The wine tasting was particularly great. We can highly recommend the hotel.
