I paid an extra amount for an upgrade pertaining to my preferences still upon my check in i had to change the room immediately as the preferences were not taken care of. The food quality is ok. Even after putting the DND sign the room was serviced in my absence. Overall the stay was just ok.

Good hotel. Large rooms, comfortable bed. There is everything you need: hairdryer, iron, refrigerator, minibar. The food in the restaurant is delicious, but only Indian. No choice for European guests. Polite helpful staff, speak good English. Pros: view from the room directly to the Taj Mahal. But in the evening it is not visible, since there is no backlight. It's only a 10-minute drive to the Taj Mahal. In the morning, to see it at dawn, the hotel's location is definitely an advantage.
There is a spa with massages at a reasonable price. But we didn't go there.
Cons: small pool. It's better not to go outside. There is devastation and a very dirty area all around.

There was a wedding the night we stayed at this hotel. The rooms surrounding ours were those who attended the wedding. They were very loud once the wedding was over and they returned to their rooms. We called the desk to complain and instead of talking to the guests being loud, they asked us if we wanted to move our room. This was 1:30 am. They should have spoken to those disturbing others to be quiet instead of asking us if we wanted to move rooms.
