Super gute und schöne Unterkunft ; der Chef konnte sehr sehr gut Deutsch ; die Familie war sehr sehr nett und hilfsbereit ; wir konnten spontan noch eine Tagestour buchen mit privatem deutschsprachigem Guide und Fahrer. Das war sehr effizient und *** kam überall sehr schnell rein (er hat alles organisiert). Sehr empfehlenswert diese Tagestour! Das Haus war sehr chick eingerichtet, sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es war alles sehr gut und ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Einziges Minus: die direkte Umgebung ist nicht so schön.

Agra was the first city we visited on our trip. Being the first time in India we were quite nervous how the accommodations would be. Arriving late we were lucky to see the house with its beautiful lightning. We were highly surprised when we arrived at Shiv Kothi. Such a nice house with beautiful hosts. The rooms were clean and beautifully furnished. Bathrooms were clean, nice and everything worked well. Even warm water! So price/performance was excellent.

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Ausgangslage in Agra. Die Gastfamilie ist unglaublich nett und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns mit Tipps und Buchungen wunderbar unterstützt. Mukki, der Vermieter spricht fließend Deutsch und wir haben ihn als Guide für das Taj Mahal und für die Umgebung von Agra gebucht. Wir haben so viel spannende historische Zusammenhänge erfahren, Einblicke in altes indisches Handwerk bekommen und vielen Mythen und Geschichten gelauscht. Sehr empfehlenswert. Alles ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist super!

Beautiful place and hospitality is the best in agra.. one can’t go wrong with shiv kothi .. nice home cooked food and mukesh and his wife always present to help you out to make your stay more memorable.. rooms are clean and quite and it’s located just walking distance from Taj Mahal

Wonderful place run by a super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable family. Extremely comfortable and accommodating. We stayed while we toured the area’s forts, palaces and tombs which are fantastic. We especially enjoyed the relaxed conversations about the area, Indian crafts and architecture. Thoroughly enjoyable.

When visiting Agra and the Taj Mahal, Shiv Kothi is a nice place to stay. Makesh and his family have been very friendly and welcoming in their home. The food is nice and their rooms beautiful. Helpful with their contacts. I would recommend them to anyone.

Ein sehr schönes Homestay. Die Zimmer sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und geräumig. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und wir hatten den besten Masala Chai. Mukesh ist ein großartiger Gastgeber und spricht zudem sehr gut Deutsch. Er hilft auch gerne mit der Organisation der Zeit in Agra (zB Reiseführer). Unsere Weiterreise war erst um 23 Uhr und wir konnten bis am Abend bei ihnen bleiben. Wir können die Unterkunft in Agra sehr empfehlen.
