I had a fun New Year trip. I didn't think I could eat New Year's food. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I think I could have been more sightseeing in summer.

This was our first time staying at a hot spring hotel in Kusatsu. We were traveling by car, so it was very convenient to check in. We booked the hotel’s kaiseki meal for dinner. The service, food quality, and environment are all worth recommending. In addition, it only takes 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to Kusatsu Yubatake. You can also try the open-air footbath, and shop at the nearby shops and convenience stores. Our family is very satisfied this time, like it 👍🏼!

If you walk for about 5 minutes from the Kusatsu Onsen bus stop, you will see the Kusatsu Onsen main street Yubatake, and this is a hot spring inn located right behind the Yubatake. The facilities look quite old, but the interior is neat and tidy. The hot spring inside the building is located on the first floor, but the interior feels a bit cramped, but when I went in, there weren't many users, so it wasn't inconvenient. The view around the hot spring is nice, so it's okay, but the service at the izakaya nearby is terrible, so I don't recommend going to this izakaya.

I chose a Western-style room the night before, and I chose a Japanese-style room tonight. I enjoy a different experience. The Japanese-style room is also very spacious and clean. In the evening, the staff will help us make the bed during dinner time without having to do it yourself. I slept comfortably for one night and the overall feeling was not bad. Japanese-style rooms are cheaper, and Japanese-style rooms are recommended in Japan 😄

This is a hotel with a long history since the Edo period. It is 2 minutes away from the bus station and Yuten. The hotel's meticulous service is meticulous and thoughtful, with a smile on your face, and the special apple juice is very delicious. The dinner is Kaiseki cuisine, and you can experience it one dish at a time. The food is quite rich. Special praise for Liu San who can speak Chinese. The service is very good, which makes us communicate barrier-free and feel at ease. The hot spring is also very comfortable. I have never experienced such a service-oriented hotel. 山側の眺望のお部屋でしたが、開放感があり空も広くて良かったです。 お部屋も広々していてソファもあり、キャリーを十分に広げられる広さです。 何より、ユニットバスに入る段差が無し！これは珍しいと思いますし本当にありがたいです。 個室のシャワーの水圧もいいし切り替えもできてとても良かったです。 山の上のため行くまでの道が険しく、猿もいたので日が完全になくなるまでに急いで向かったため、町で夕飯を買うことができず、カップラーメンで過ごしました。21時までの売店にもう少し夜食のレパートリーがあれば嬉しかったです。
