When my family of 5 visited Ghana for 3 weeks in July 2024, we wanted another house to stay in so we can be pampered as adults while the kids are having fun at the same time. A friend recommended Bamboo house and we gave it a try. Oh how it was the best recommendation ever. We were greeted by Felicia who was the house keeper and she took our bags to our rooms and showed us the entire house. The house was amazingly beautiful and comfortable. The kids loved the house especially the pool which they spent all day in. We enjoyed relaxing in the grand living room and poolside under the bamboo shade. Tons of yard space for parking, over 7 beautiful bedrooms each with their own full bathroom with shower. The bamboo house was very safe with friendly onsite security guards 24/7. WiFi was included which made working on vacation very easy. Felicia was always cleaning up and was so helpful in giving us recommendations on restaurants and bars in the area. A little walk to the main road has access to breakfast cafes, restaurants, bars , supermarkets and other businesses. When in Ghana, trust me when I say Bamboo house is a must stay for family or events because the space is endless!!! Enjoy and thank me later.

Think twice when booking this place. The 5/5 stars must be from bots or the owners personal friends. The place has so much untapped potential. It lacks in so many ways. Two big issues. First, sanitation, cleanliness. Second: safety. The beds were as hard as a rock. The outlets were a fire hazard, and they had college/dormitory style refrigerators that did not keep our drinks and food cold. The owner needs to address this and maintain his property better, or invest in a property manager!
