Suncity Hotel Apartment

I came with my friends to have lunch and I must say I had the best experience, the food was amazing and the cocktails we ordered were soo nice and cold❤️.. I love the services of the workers and the place looks serene to live around.. I am willing to visit anytime soon

I stayed at Sun City hotel from mid- October through January. I loved the bright sunny apartment, hot water and community views. But don’t let it fool you. The laid back management style with minimal security at night is not safe. There are many robberies that happen on that street and I was robbed right in front of the hotel and had money stolen from my room. The manager is very familiar with the police. They mentioned her name when I went to report it. They also assured me that nothing could be found on the CCTV cameras(which aren’t hidden and ancient). Yet when I asked to see the tapes I could see myself being trampled by a motobike and my bag was stolen while I was knocked unconscious. I have been living in Ghana off and on for 4 years and never felt fear for my life. The manager said it wasn’t her responsibility because it happened in the street. She has not improved any of security measures and even the very next night noone was at the door. I was robbed/assaulted at 8:30pm and noone said they saw anything except when I finally came to my senses and was offered help. I was terrified to stay after my bag with all of my IDs and credit cards along with my passport stolen. The manager offered a refund for the remaining days I didn’t stay only it was less $400. She decided to refund based on the quoted price monthly, not the price my agent negotiated. Be very, very careful. I do not recommend staying there and grateful to still be alive.
