American Mall

The room was nice and clean. I was there for 3 nights and never had room service knock on the door to do anything in the room. Apart from that, the staff were quite friendly and helpful. Location is great but a bit noisy. But not to the point where it interferes with daily affairs. I will definitely book again though.

It was a great place to be I really liked the place .

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights, and we were quite pleased with this guest house. It was very clean, the staff was helpful, and the room sizes were perfect for the two of us. This is the 3rd guesthouse/hotel that we stayed at while in Ghana as we weren't satisfied with the other places and I must say we loved it! The only disadvantage was that the Bolt and taxi drivers had a hard time locating it even though we gave them the address. We later learned that the best way to direct a driver is by telling them a particular landmark, so in our case, the landmark was a restaurant called "Odu Rice" which is right in front of American Mall. The area is also a bit noisy in the morning, but we didn't let it bother us too much as we went out each day.

The facility is decent, has ample space and amenities that create a home-like feel. However, the environment is quite noisy with market noise, sound from the traffic and church. There were some issues with the room and sitting room area, including an unpleasant odor. The air conditioning unit leaked water into the room, causing my luggage to get wet overnight. I also had to request internet access the following day before receiving the password. While the facility is reasonably priced, it requires better maintenance to give customers a good experience.
