Stay Away
I'm not sure why there are so many recent highly rated reviews, but it makes me livid because I trusted those. This place is abysmal. Dirty, decaying, and downright sketchy.
I pulled in and immediately regretted my reservation, simply based on the exterior appearance. I probably should have just cancelled and taken the loss, but I didn't. I'm still alive and I still have all of my possessions, but that's about as good as it gets.
Several things are broken and/or rusted. The curtains are moth-eaten, the window is secured with a screw driven into the track, the sink drained extremely slowly, we were given used toiletries, the drawers and side tables were visibly dirty with debris, and my 9 yo son found a pill under the coffee packets. Also, the pool was completely drained and there apparently hasn't been a hot tub at this location in YEARS, although posted pictures show otherwise.

Worst nights ever
Hotel was dirty and outdated . The pool was only reason we booked there and it was out of order . Beds were hard as a rock and tv was crap and would not stay on . The breakfast was a joke . Will not be staying here ever again .

The bed was nice and comfortable but when I walk into the bathroom the tub is dirty and u see spiders and roaches and crickets on the floor dead that is disgusting and when I was checking in the white lady tells me they don’t serve people who are from Abilene and if she could refund me she would but she hope she doesn’t get in trouble because she giving me a room because I’m in Abilene this is unacceptable is it because I’m black ? And she kept huffing and puffing if that was the case maybe y’all need to put in the policy this hotel is only for travelers and maybe people would know I never heard anything like that and she was mad because she had to have her boss fix it the next morning and she was gonna get in trouble like honey please I’ll never come back to this hotel ever again .

What a place! The room was spacious. The drapes covered the window and stopped any light or noise. The shower head was the best, even under massage. Lots of pressure and volume. The breakfast was better than most. The owner was very accommodating. The a/c was very quiet and wasn't under the drapes or next to the bed. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable.

This hotel has very friendly & helpful staff. The indoor pool was refreshing. The hot breakfast was super. They even had bacon which is very rarely seen at breakfast. We did have an unfortunate accident where my wife fell in the elevator & hit her head on a large metal bar. This was caused by the elevator having a small bump after it stops at a floor. A week later, she is much better & should fully recover. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We absolutely loved it there but next time we will get a room on the top floor and away from the coke and ice machines. Lol. But other than that the stay was 😃
