Great stay

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Ideal location for bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. Also great location for shopping.

The suites are perfect. They are big, clean, have comfortable beds and lots of little extras, like washing-up liquid, tea etc. We stayed here in July and had an issue with the hot water and complained. Our complaint was dealt with swiftly and to our complete satisfaction by Alanna, which meant we were happy to stay in the suites on our return to Aberdeen a few weeks later. The staff are friendly and helpful. Well done - fantastic customer service.

Me and my partner came to aberdeen for a wee night away. Safe to say the suit we stayed in was amazing. The kitchenette was lovely but the star of the show was the luxury bathroom. It was massive shower-room and was perfect. The bed was so comfortable and the staff were so helpful in regards to letting us barrow an ironing board.

Spotlessly clean, lovely comfortable bed, everything you could possibly want. Sadly we only stayed one night. The lady at the front desk was so helpful. We had been let down by The Residents at the Marriott at the last minute (9:10am on the morning of our stay) but the lovely people at ******* found the Royal Athenaeum suites for us and I really couldn’t have asked for better. Would highly recommend

Great place. Check-in was perfect. The receptionists noticed we had a lot of shopping, so she checked us into a bigger apartment, which we were very grateful for as we had more shopping to do. 1st floor apartment with views over to the Christmas Village. Plenty of room for us both with adequate cooking facilities it had everything you would need for self catering. We did eat out but were very happy to find tins in the cupbpard with tea coffee augar and milk in the fridge. Amazing comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. the large shower was amazing. Considering the location of these apartments, we were not disturbed in the night with people passing pr coming out the ****** in the early hours. Will definitely recommend it to fellow Shetlanders and look forward to returning

Really nice large, well appointed rooms and very modern. Could not get a better location right in the thick of it all. The bell ringing from the tower certainly makes sure you don't sleep in. Numerous bars and restaurants very close. Definitely a winner.

Nice duplex room which had all we needed. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Air conditioning was difficult to work but with trial and error we got there. Unfortunately the noise from people drinking outside and coming out of the ****** all night and particularly so when closing at 5am was just too much for us. We’ll stay somewhere else next time.
