All over good, very quiet !!

This Hotel is closed, you are actually staying in the other block with orange rooms so do not book the exhibition side. Also 144sq ft family rooms do not exist, they are all 100sq rooms with sofa bed. The reception could not help, just smile and what are you to do but take it on the chin as where else will you go at 6pm at night? This is a basic hotel, relatively clean, in need of repairs but is £40/night plus good location across from KFC, Starbucks etc. Just be warned or consider the Premier Inn 2 miles north for £60/night and decent sized family room.

This hotel, now OYO, was originally the Holiday Inn Express building opposite the Aberdeen Energy Park. It's located 3 miles north of Aberdeen & there's plenty of free off road on site parking. The infrastructure is still Holiday Inn which makes it not just good but exceptional value for money compared to any form of accommodation anywhere in Scotland. Rooms are a decent size, all en suite with very good clean showers and modern facilities. Lighting is good. Housekeeping to a good standard. Free WiFi with strong signal. Bedding clean. The manager is professional but friendly, exceptionally helpful, polite & respectful. Very minor issues such as air con system inoperative with some windows not opening due to new safety regulations & TV infrastructure needing attention but pros far outweigh the cons here and I would return and recommend this bargain find very highly to anyone looking for a budget priced base to explore NE Scotland, the Whisky Trail or NE Cost 300. 5 stars. Excellent within the price range.

Tumbleweed rolling through the corridors. Bar closed. Restaurant closed. No local alternative options unless KFC, McDonalds or Starbucks suffices for your evening meal. Strange smell in bathroom. Thin duvet on bed. Room heating by use of noisy fan heater. Lots of parking though because there’s no one there.

Had to be moved as room hadn't been cleaned

Avoid this hotel for your sanity. Terrible hotel, very dirty and unkept, terrrible cleaning habit and the beds are strong and cause body pains.
