Charles Hope Aberdeen

The check-in process is extremely cumbersome. There is a pre-check-in to complete, which we didn’t receive or know about until we were at the front desk. It took more than an hour, a call to customer service, four emails with different steps to complete and two automated texts to finally check in. Then came the security deposit (about $190 USD), which, weeks after check-out, has yet to be refunded and inquiries with customer service have gone unanswered. We stayed in early July 2024, not before 2019, as the company has said in replies on other reviews that note the same issue, stating that they changed their process in 2019. The room was fine, nothing special, but the experience checking in and now trying to resolve the deposit issue have made us want to avoid all Charles Hope properties in the future.

Ideal place for extended trips to the city! Staff on site are extremely kind and really felt like a home away from home. I really appreciated housekeeping coming once a week as well. Facilities are very nice and modern. Only downside was the noise from street and nearby pub. The building itself is very quiet

The place was clean, had everything we needed in it and communication was great. The staff was great, friendly and helpful, on site gym free to use which was a bonus. Local was perfect as well, only downfall was parking. Great shops and supermarkets locally within walking distance.

I was really happy with my room at Charles Hope Aberdeen and I would stay again. The room including the bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything you would need. The staff were also friendly and helpful, and the building itself is very clean and stylish. The only thing that was negative and was frustrating for me was that there was no lamp, only very bright ceiling lights, so there was no option for less bright lighting. I dislike very bright lights and especially in the evening when I want to wind down and read a book, I prefer much dimmer lighting. If I knew there was no lamp I would have bought a camping light or something. Adding a small lamp into the rooms wouldn't be expensive and it would really complete it. I enjoyed my 4 night stay anyway. Thank you.

Central location, but we did not hear traffic noise. The room was clean and had everything we needed for the two nights we were there, including tea/coffee etc, kettle, cooking facilities, fridge as well as a tv. Staff we met were very pleasant and helpful.

Lovely stay, ideal location and impeccably clean. My boyfriend and I stayed for a night as we had an event to attend in Aberdeen. The room was small but had everything we would need inside, including a full kitchenette and private bathroom. The facilities were second to none, the roof top rooms were lovely to lounge in and perfect photo backdrop looking over the whole of Aberdeen. The cinema room looked lovely, we didn't get a chance to use it as we were only there for a short period of time but it would be great if we took a few friends. Being on Belmont street I thought that it would be noisy but we had the best sleep and we didn't hear a peep through the whole night. The location was amazing because it was only a few steps and we arrived at the best street in Aberdeen for cocktails and pre-drinks. Will definitely be staying again!

Great apartment in a great location in Aberdeen. Stunning views from the garden room and reception lounge. Comfy rooms with all amenties provided- I was there for a week and everything was stocked up. The team at Charles hope communicated and made sure that everything was ok for me. The convinience of shopping centres and high street close by and the great team at the Point & Charles Hope- made the overall experience A++. Highly recommended!
