My wife finds out that I'm planning a drift ice trip with 4 old men who are drinking and playing mahjong. and was criticized. I had no choice but to go out with my wife for a preliminary inspection before that, in order to get in a good mood and have him sent on the trip. Arrive at Memanbetsu Airport and take the airport shuttle bus directly to the drift ice tourist boat departure point at the roadside station Abashiri Ryuhyo Highway. Unfortunately, I had to wait for the 15:30 flight right after the 14:00 departure. Luckily, there was drift ice this afternoon, and I was able to enjoy the fantastic scenery and the power of crushed ice. Unfortunately, this hotel does not have a pick-up service, so you have to drive your own car or take a taxi. There is a taxi stand at the sightseeing boat dock, but it is not always on standby. When I asked how to call the tourist information center in the hotel, they called me on the phone. Arrived in a little over 10 minutes after departure. I got the impression that the building was made by adding old storehouses and mountain huts. In the corridors leading to the lobby and guest rooms, there are a large number of various handicrafts and handicrafts on display. Evaluation of these will depend on each person's taste. However, old photographs of Ainu people were displayed, which was interesting. The room is a twin bed room in a wooden room with the same size, facilities and equipment as a city hotel. There is no bathroom in the room, only a washbasin and a shower room. However, in the ba*****t there is a large hot spring bath with a cypress bath, an open-air bath, and two private baths. It seems that this hot spring is not free-flowing. The reason I chose this place to stay is because my wife doesn't like the so-called ryokan cuisine and izakaya cuisine, so they serve light French dinner. As a result, this was the correct answer. Marinated flounder salad, scallop mousse with tomato flavored risotto, Abashiri wagyu rump steak, all of which are of good restaurant quality. Draft beer, white wine by the glass, and red by the bottle of German wine. The volume is never light and is sufficient. My wife is satisfied with these. Breakfast is Japanese, with Saikyo-yaki atka mackerel from Rausu, pork, stir-fried wood ear*, scallops in tomato soup, and dipping sauce. As someone from Kansai, I felt it was a little salty, but I guess it's a standard seasoning in Hokkaido. During breakfast, we had a good time with the Ezo squirrels who came by the window. The price is a little high, but if you think about the food, you can be satisfied.

Although the building is undeniably old, the wallpaper is replaced and made as it is. The view on the lake side is perfect. The indoor bath is very large and sloppy, and the sauna is also available early in the morning. However, it is a pity that the backyard of the dressing room was unmanned and kept open, and very fine garbage floated in the open-air bath, such as the net and the sponge. Supper is satisfying in both taste and quantity. Regardless of the number of people or plans, I also like the fact that the landlady comes to greet me. Is it just that breakfast buffet is neither good nor bad? It feels a little lower than dinner. The South Building is a bit far away and old, but the price is reasonable for that amount.

If you endure old, dirty things, you can use it cheaply. Breakfast is poor and CP is not suitable. It is recommended to be a neighboring sukiya. It is cheap as a hotel that cannot be considered. In front of the station, there is a business hotel of the national chain, and it is a characteristic hotel as one of the choices. I was sent to the smile of the lady general and checked out.

We who came to stay from Honshu 4 When we asked if we could only eat together with our family living in the area, or even add a day trip bath, despite the busy season (the day was full) It was helpful to be kindly and smoothly to respond to the addition and plan change without waiting. The originality of the northern ancient culture theme was explained while carrying luggage, and there was a pleasure not only to stay. In the place where I could meet Ezoris, I could see 3 animals up close even through the glass. The melon juice and hass cup juice at the free drink corner were very delicious. In the room, there was only drinking water in the glass pot in the refrigerator, but there was water in the free drink corner, so it was quite good. 4 The type of guest room where people can stay is large with a dressing table sideways, and women 4 can make it at the same time. There are multiple sinks, which is helpful. The comforter is feather, light and soft, and I could sleep comfortably. The buffet restaurant has a wide variety of dishes using plenty of local ingredients, especially potato dishes such as potato butter and meat potatoes, and sweet shrimp and sail sashimi. The vegetable pizza that I had to put my favorite ingredients on the dough and bake took a little time, but it was baked in a pizza pot and it was delicious. Breakfast milk 3 It was fun and delicious compared to drinking in the production area. There is also soft serve ice cream in the morning and evening. Miso soup is a style of taking the ingredients from the buffet and boiling them a little in a pot of soup on the table. I'm at a loss because there are many kinds of ingredients. I was worried about the rugged rock surface in the open-air bath. The shop was compact but convenient with good items. Some foreign-affiliated luxury hotels in central Tokyo and Okinawa have obviously lost their service quality due to labor shortages before and after Corona, but they are not worth the price. I didn't feel that there was enough staff here, and I thought ”I'm glad I came” to the simple and warm customer service.

I don't think the room will change from other Toyoko Inns. If breakfast is included and it costs about 6000 yen, it is a reasonable price. Be careful as you need to bring your room clothes and amenities from the lobby. The number of breakfast items is not abundant, but you can eat in the room with basic lunch box + other ingredients (taste nori, sausage, yakisoba, etc.). You can also eat in the dining room, but because you concentrate. There is only one elevator, so you will have to wait quite a while.

Just in front of Abashiri Station It is a location without complaint to rent a car, take a train, or take a bus. The room is not the same as any route inn or not. Thank you for having coffee at the front desk and 24 hours. The public bath is small, but it is thankful to put it late
Hokkai Hotel sits at the center of the town and along the River Abashiri. 5 minutes walk from the Abashiri station.
GGuest User2022.08.01
I just finished two nights at the Hotel Hokkai in Abashiri. The hotel is fairly dated, yet very, very typical of what you find outside Hokkaido's main cities. It is very easy to find, along HWY 39 that runs between Asahikawa and Abashiri. The room size, decor, and tiny unit bath are all typical, something I've seen too many times to count. So, in that sense, I knew what I was getting, and am ok with that. One particular thing bothered me though, and completely changed my view of this hotel. I was running late on Friday night, having driven the 350 km from Sapporo. When I made the reservation I guessed my time of arrival would be at 11 pm. I arrived at 11:55. This is how the conversation went. ”Hotel: X-san. We were wondering what happened to you. We called your house.” ”Me: You called my house? Why?” ”Hotel: Because you were late.” ”Me: What time did you call?” ”Hotel: At 11:15” ”Me: So, you called my house when I was only 15 minutes late?” ”Yes. The last train to Abashiri has already arrived and you weren't here.” ”Me. Why did you think I would take the train?” (NB: I have a Japanese driver's license and drive everywhere. Clearly they think non-Japanese don't drive here.) ”Hotel: didn't answer my question...” ”Me: You shouldn't call my house late at night because I'm running late.” ”Hotel: No one answered at your house.” ”Me: That's because most people are asleep then. It's 11 pm!” After that, he handed me my key and I went up to my room, not happy. Honestly, I lost all respect for the hotel at that point. I've been to 80+ countries and thousands of hotels and never has one called my house when I was late, let alone 15 minutes late. As a result, I won't be staying at this hotel again. I'd rather sleep in my car.

Good location really close to the bus station and a large BASIC supermarket open until 9. Photo attached of sunrise from room window. A great hotel but usually out of my price range. The main risk is an overcrowded onsen which together with the very variable pricing make this Dormy a better low season pick than high season.
The Tabist Abashiri Central Hotel was recently opened in 2023, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Abashiri. Traveling to the hotel is easy with JR Abashiri Station located approximately 900m away and Memanbetsu Airport roughly 21km away. Seeing Abashiri's sights from this hotel is easy with Echo Center 2000, Apt4 Shotengai and Abashirishi Public Library all close by. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests of this Abashiri hotel can make use of the parking facilities.

Facilities: The hotel is quite old. It should be a building from the Showa era, but the facilities in the house are well maintained and fully equipped.
Hygiene: Hygiene is very good
Environment: The environment is good, but Abashiri is indeed a bit depressed due to the aging population and the exodus of young people. The largest group may be tourists who come to see the drift ice in winter. It is about 1km away from Abashiri JR Station and is close to the shopping street and slightly far from the station.
Service: The service is very good and communication in Japanese is very smooth.

Notori no shokariya is an inn located in Hokkaido, Abashiri City, Hokkaido. It faces Lake Notori and is adjacent to the coral grass community in Japan. I visited the coral grass community on this day. After sightseeing, I came to Notori no sho kagariya. There is a parking lot in front of the building and next to it. Easy to stop. I stayed in a double room this time. There is also a sofa and a spacious room. TV and refrigerator. Dryer on the washbasin. Toilet is a hot water toilet seat. Inquiries can be made on a smartphone. To the public bath. I can see coral grass community from the bathtub, but naturally, there is a sliding glass, so I can't see it if I don't stand. There is no open-air bath. Dinner is like this. I also had crab with a cherry blossom. It's big. pot. Tenpu. Kinki no tsuki. It seems to be another type if you think it is a gold eyed tsuki. Kimme tsuki is also a luxury fish, but Kimi seems to have several times the price (ki) dessert. Breakfast is like this. I'm a little happy with melon. I checked out and went out for sightseeing. It was a pretty high priced inn for me 々 to stay (laughs) The location is right in front of the coral grass community and is the best to walk. The meal was surprisingly small, but it was just good for me. The building is old, so the bath may be like that, but I want a little more contrivance. There is no elevator, so it is hard to lift your luggage on the second floor. I don't want to take the year.

GGuest UserAs the title suggests, it is a guesthouse full of hospitality. I made a reservation just before, but it was really nice at this place! There are places in the guesthouse where employees and guests are at a reasonable distance, but in Imodango Village, both the owner and staff carefully look at the customer's situation and talk to them appropriately, so it is more comfortable than the facilities. I felt the goodness of. From the owner, I was able to hear a lot about Abashiri and travel stories, and I had a fulfilling time. At the time of parting, he came out of the front door and waved his hand. It's not difficult, but there aren't many places where you can see off. In that sense as well, it was a guesthouse that I was really glad to come to. The next time I come to Abashiri, I will definitely visit!
GGuest UserIt seems that the former 々 was lodging, and the house is open as a private night.
A friendly mother welcomes you with a smile. I feel like I'm back in my school days.
There are many dishes, and there are many kinds of sake and low prices.
I don't know if 10,000 yen is high in a private night, but I thought it was the amount that I could pay with conviction.
There was a heat stroke warning alert, which is rare for Hokkaido, so I think it was a little tough without air conditioning, but overall I am very satisfied.
GGuest UserIt was old and I was surprised that the entrance was kept with gum tape, but it was cleaned so there was not much filthy feeling. The toilet was a washlet, the hot spring in the large communal bath was wide 々, and there was an open-air bath and a sauna. It was good that the massage chair on the break floor was free, but the discoloration of the massage chair in the dressing room was a little uncomfortable. Lending shampoo & Rinse, amenities and hair irons for gifts only for women were also good. Breakfast was good at 1100 yen and cheap and all-you-can-eat salmon roe. The scenery is the best when it's sunny. Therefore, if you can go upstairs as much as possible, the top floor is recommended. The breakfast venue was also beautiful in green. It is also recommended to take a walk because Lake Abashiri is close.
