It was a cold unit and the heater had to be urned on early to heat up the unit, but it was still quite cold. We had fresh towels and the basic things. The shared kitchen was something we did not opt to use. All in all we loved the price and that we were able to book our family of five.

this is the 4th time we have stayed here . it is close to the main street , has a nice chilled out vibe with good facilities and is a really good price. the only problem we found this time was we had booked to escape our busy lives and relax for a few days. we were put in room 10 under where the owners stay with their young kids i am not sure if they are aware but the ceiling is very thin and for all 3 mornings from 6AM through to 9AM it is just constant running / jumping / screaming from the kids and i know that sounds harsh but when you book a few days away and get woke every morning like this it is very very off putting. i will stay here again but only if we can be at the opposite end of the property. we honestly don't mind people making a bit of noise but constant jumping and thumping rite above your head from early every morning is not ideal at all

Super friendly, approachable and caring staff, great place to stay and everything is kept super clean and the outdoor area is so nice. Definitely recommend staying here, super nice to be close to the mountain / Beach absolutly great value for your money.

Outstanding

MMitchellAs a whole, this small Property hotel was very clean and the roooms looked as if they were recently painted. Our particular room on the 2 floor had a great view of the harbor and made for a terrific view of the sunrise. All in all this hotel was one of our best that we have stayed in through our travels of New Zealand. The only catch to me was we are a family of 4. Our children are 5 years of age. It was highly interesting to me that with our room having a King Bed and Two single beds, I was charged for “an extra person” supposedly because the rooms occupancy is 3. I am guessing that with three beds and only an occupancy of three, that they are requiring the parents to sleep by themselves in different beds. Not really sure what’s going on with that. Would recommend, Only if you are a family of 3!

The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Good clean kitchen and bathroom. Close to main road and way to get onto to go into town. Shops and petrol station across the road. Had pool close to my room which was great but I hasn’t bought my swimsuit!

This place is amazing. The units are newly renovated, VERY clean and VERY functional! All the cooking facilities you need, even a coffee maker and milk frother. The beds are comfy, the AC unit works a treat, the couch and chair nice and soft, and the hosts! Theyre so friendly and amazing. I loved my stay here and when back in Tauranga I will most definitely be staying here again. There is roadworks right outside and couldnt hear anything once inside. Its literally 2 minutes from the hospital, even with heavy traffic and alot of roadworks. Just an absolute pleasure staying here. P.S. To the hotel hosts and staff..i was meant to leave a note before we left as we left before the office opened. But thank you so much for making what is usually a very hectic time for us a real breeze. We felt very comfortable and looked after. I wish all the best things for you guys! Thanks again.

Photos are great, but room was not as expected. Executive King, was far from executive. Shower was old with yellowing formica walls, had security light outside keep going off and shining into room, no blinds to stop this. Pillows all mismatched in shape and size, the two singles to create a large bed meant a hard high bit right in the middle of the bed. So not the best for couples. No Sky only netflix. Had a young boy literally stare at us the entire time when leaving, made me feel uncomfortable. If this was detailed as a standard, i'd be ok, but there was nothing executive about this. Lady was lovely when checking in. But was still disappointed with quality, wasn't what I would have expected for an ”Executive King Room”. Also to note, is in a flight path, so lots of low flying plane noise.

GGuest UserThe place is very accesible from state hiway and few blocks away from Bayfair mall. We did not expect that a motel could have been that complete. The check in was very smooth. The guy accompanied us to our room. The unit has 2 floors. Ground floor has 1 single bed, small receiving area and mini kitchen. Mini kitchen has cuttleries, kitchen utensils, pans and mini fridge. The toilet hAs bath tub and complete with toiletries. Queen size bed is uptairs. I must commend this has the most generous plug/ socket that we have ever stayed in! I think the entire unit has 5 x 2 plugs. Yehey!! Thats 10 gadgets or appliance at the same time. Lol. There is a heater panel as well but electric fan is provided too. We are delighted that we were able to use their heated pool After a tiring day from walking around. The check out was fast and easy too! Will recommend this motel to everyone who does not expect something grand and not fussy. We are happy to stay here again and again in the future

GGuest UserLast minute holiday and this was available so we booked. Took a studio unit and it was really lovely for us - two adults and a teenager. Had everything we needed - fantastic fan supplied to help us keep cool too. Comfy beds and great tv with ALL the Sky channels. Nicely maintained room with lovely gardens as well :). Location was fine - not noisy and not out of the way. Thanks for having us.

This establishment allows pets, but quite frankly I wouldn't let my dog anywhere near it. Spent a week here on work (clearly upset someone in bookings) and found it thoroughly unpleasant. On entry to the room I was greeted with carpet stains and an aroma akin to an ailing widowers home. Single beds serve as lounge seating and wooden decor and panelling throughout gives a distinctly 80s vibe. Shower is lined with black mould. The thermal pool may well be very pleasant but given its condition (refer to photographs) was not something I wanted to immerse my body in. Location is undesirable and driveway is on a corner of a busy road which is treacherous. All in all a dreadful time. Fortunately a corkscrew is supplied, as if you stay here you'll certainly want to drink.
