We had a wonderful time as a family at the place. Everything was excellent, the staff, the food, and rooms were really neat & clean worth staying, very nice place to stay in Yelagiri. The ground floor restaurant serves tasty breakfast, lunch and Dinner and has good car parking, a neatly maintained children's park, swimming pool. Certainly, recommend this hotel.

I caught you on wrong foot”. Sameera has something which people don't usually find in much talked-about hotels of repute. One of the hidden secrets in Vellore to get the accommodation lies with Darling Residency. Don’t get fooled by the lack of huge entrance and foyer. The rooms are fairly large sized with king size bed, working table and a chair and very nice bath room. All the amenities are standard and I had no issues to address. Being a frequent traveler to various places both in India and abroad, I can safely say that I was very much comfortable. I also enjoyed sumptuous and tasty food in the attached vegetarian restaurant. Last but not least is that the employees ( from front desk to room service) are extremely courteous and helpful. I will definitely visit next time.

Stayed in this hotel with family for one night. Access to the hotal and external facade are good. It has enough parking space. The rooms are decent. However it offers poor room service. Probably they are under staffed and hence least bothered to serve you in the room. Tea was served after half an hour. For dinner again no sign of food after half an hour of placing the order. Reminded them. No joy. Finally after agonising wait of 45 mins called up again and canceled the order. Went across the road to another restaurant and got the food parcel. It also lacks in basic hospitality processes. Cleanliness of wash room was an issue with marks /spots on tiles adjacent to commode. Worst of all no soap dish in shower area. Nobody from the ***agement seems to have noticed or never inspected. Breakfast served in the restaurant was another horror as far as cleanliness and service goes. It is a good property but lacks in service and basic hospitality
