Dongtai Hostels

My 2nd time in Dongtai, 1st time in Leida hotel. It looked good on the website. 1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected. The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds! I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights. The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer. Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.

A moderately touristed and well-served hotel during May 1st ～ Obviously, there are many self-driving guests around. The lobby sells local rock candy melons in boxes, and you can taste ～. Breakfast is very good, the taste is very good 👍 The hotel environment is very good, walking around the hotel is also a kind of enjoyment. The hot spring is separate from men and women. I couldn't go with my children and went to the pool. The ground pool has a floor-to-ceiling window on a wall. In the evening, there are two of us. How can one be comfortable? The staff at the pool and the front desk were very good. The tabletop in the breakfast room was very timely. The room service saw that I wanted to make milk powder and gave two more bottles of water. Thank you ～ The dinner packages during May 1st are very affordable, the price is moderate and the taste is good, and the amount of dishes is not small. The grabbing machine in the lobby has two coins, one dollar and one coin, and the charge is quite conscience [strong] It is the hotel's face record of the Yellow Sea Forest Park ticket is not available during the stay. On the morning of check-out, we wanted to take the children to Muyu Forest to play, but found that we couldn't brush it [halo] [halo]

The price is very high and the service attitude is very good. Free parking, very close to the city, the room is equipped with a bathtub 🛁, there are many fish soup noodle shops around. Very suitable for family and business travel

The rooms in Sichuan and Shanghai are very angry. The high-end has a grade, and the hotel has a restaurant, the private room is high-end, very suitable for business, recommend friends who like big rooms on business trips. recommend

After a year, I went back to my hometown for work and stayed at Renda again. I was touched by the hotel's considerate service: because I had to go out for work in the early morning, the hotel prepared a convenient breakfast before 6 o'clock in the morning, which was so warm; I booked the hotel on Ctrip. The hotel is very new, opened only last year, not in the city, but the surrounding environment and greenery are good. The room is large, clean, new facilities, rich breakfast with many varieties, more than 300 a night price is cost-effective, next time I go to Dongtai, I will stay here again.
