Fairfield Inn & Suites Boise Nampa

I have traveled in every US state on a car trip except Alaska and of course had to fly to Hawaii..love travel. The first time I stayed at the Fairfield in Nampa Idaho I was impressed. So on the next trip.I decided to stay there again. HUGE MISTAKE! My room was nice but almost immediately the noise started in the room directly above me. A child started running thru the room and jumping up and down. After a half hour I couldnt take the noise another minute so called the night manager for help. She went to.the room and discovered the kids parents dumped him in the room then left to go out partying. The night manager did her best but this kid never shut up...running around the room and jumping on the floor. Around 2 am she offered to move me to another room which I gladly accepted. Unfortunately my nights sleep was short..I assumed I would be compensated for the $140.00 cost of the room. Nothing was said at checkout..after a week I called the manager to ask if I would be receving any kind of compensation. He said the hotel log made no reference of a problem. He accused me of lying about the issue because the night manager did not record the problem. Needless to say I was furious for the way he treated me. I have never been treated that way and am furious over his attitude. I would never set foot in that hotel again. To this day I have not even received an apology much less a 140.00 refund. I go to that area several times each month and would normally have stayed there again..Instead I tell everyone I know in the Boise area about that night and they all agree they wont stay there. Its one thing to suffer thru it but what upsets me most is the manager Doug Perry accusing me of lying about it. Shame on him! I should have called the police because this obviouly disturbed child was left alone in the room while his parents were out partying. Be forewarned that the manager of the Fairfield Inn in Nampa obviously doesnt care about the comfort of his guests.

I always stay at this hotel when working in Western Idaho. The location is convenient, safe, and comfortable. The food in the bar is Decent and the menu hasn’t changed in 4 years. The check in desk is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are up to date and beds are comfortable. There’s local shopping nearby and lots of parking.

I have traveled around the world and slept in a lot of third world guest houses and cheap hotels. Nampa Inn & Suites is, by far, the worst of them all. I will list my grievances by the order I encountered them beginning my two night stay. First, I had to pay a $100 cash security deposit but there was nothing in the room worthy of any sort of security deposit. Second as I walked down the hall to the room I kept tripping over missing and damaged floor tiles. I had stayed in this building when it was a Shilo in ten years ago and it was bad then. This time it was worse than I remember. 1. Our room was filthy, there were hair slivers in the sink. 2. The shower soap holders had mounds of caked on soap. 3. The room stank of something sour. 4. The AC worked only intermittently and kept waking us during the night. 5. After the first night they did not clean the room and did not give us fresh towels. When I asked about that they said it had to be requested at an extra charge. 6. The staff were far less than kind or friendly. They seemed most interested in their own personal conversations with one another than with serving clients. Whomever Melodys.X is over on the right side, who said that things had improved, I would hate to have seen what she first experienced because what we experienced was more than a nightmare. I blame myself because I picked the cheapest hotel from the list and I was reminded that $120 per night does not buy much at this hotel. You would be better off sleeping in your car in the park than staying in this place. If you are thinking about making reservations, don't! There are much much nicer places that also are cost effective in Nampa.

My husband and I made reservations for mid-March 2022 and the guest relations person made our reservation in mid-February 2022 in error. As a result, our credit card was charged as a no show. We called to cancel our stay in March since our appointment was changed to a phone call and not an in-person meeting and discovered the error. We complained about the charge and were only offered a gift certificate that expired in December 2022. We asked for our money back and were told our only choice was the gift certificate. We live in California and thus wouldn’t be back until 2023. We left a voicemail for the manager, but the manager never called us back. We disputed the charge on our credit card, but the hotel again noted us as a no show although we could prove we had an appointment in Eagle in March with reservations in Twin Falls directly after our stay. Generally, we book online but the guest relations person told us to call her directly since when we stayed previously, she gave us her card with a discounted rate. The line wasn't recorded. She gave us a confirmation number, but we didn't receive an email (I don't believe she asked for our email address). This was very disappointing. We won’t be staying in Holiday Inn Express in the future. We were surprised how we were treated when we asked for our money back.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We were on a driving trip, so chose it as we were driving toward Boise. The gentleman who helped us, Mike, was the nicest guy! He was friendly, courteous, and so helpful. You just couldn't ask for better customer service than he provided! The rooms were so nice. I usually have a hard time sleeping the first night in a hotel, but I slept like a log-- comfy bed and pillows. It was quiet and comfortable. The kitchenette was so nice, and I loved the recliner chair. In all my years of traveling, I don't think I've ever had a recliner in my room! Parking was easy, there were lots of restaurants and stores around, and it was close to the freeway. Breakfast was good too, and such service! It was a great place to say. Mike, you're the best!!
