Post pandemic shackles off, wanted to try more hidden corners of Thailand, so came to Songkhla, an hour east of Hat Yai airport, to see the old town, an area with plenty of history and charm. Over the last few years, tiny cafes, galleries, and shops have opened, but town is not yet gentrified. He reminds me of a long lost uncle of sorts. Full of wisdom, and colorful life experience. An architect by trade, he structured the Hostel to feel like a serene, meditative home-away-from-home. After staying for more than 10 days, I've fallen in love with the atmosphere of Songkhla, the small town vibes, and this hostel.

Went to a meeting nearby and got a place to stay. The staff were very welcoming. The space inside is wide to choose from. Near the hospital too.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The building is old and the room feels dim. Their buffet breakfast has quite the options. The hot water does not run efficiently, it was a rainy season on December and I'm freezing cold. Surprisingly, they have a bath tub in the room ! The balcony gives a fresh air in the morning. Overall stay was fantastic !
