Casa Fedora Holiday Home is a Small Budget Hotel on the Outskirts of Lonavala. It is located right next to the Mumbai-Pune Expressway and can be accessed directly from the Expressway via the IRB Exit which is about 2 kms after the 2nd Lonavala Exit (called Karla/Kusgaon Exit) when driving down from Mumbai. You need to call the Hotel for correct directions, as the Google Maps does not show this and directs you to use a very long, circuitous & congested way via the Lonavala Market area, which is a pain to use. The Hotel is very basic, but has a Tiny Swimming Pool which though Very Small, is Clean and fairly well maintained. They also have a Games Area with a Carrom Board, Small Pool Table and a Table Tennis Table as well. There is also a Small Garden Area in the front area of the Hotel. Decent Car Parking Space is available in the Hotel Compound, so that is no issue. The Rooms are of a decent size and have a small attached Bathroom with a Shower and 24 hrs Hot Water as well. There is only a TV with most Satellite Channels in the room and no Electric Kettle or Fridge. There is a Center Table and 2 Small Dressing Table Poofs that you can use to sit on, as no Chairs are there in the Room. They offer both AC & non AC Rooms as well. The Furnishings and Linen are Decent & Clean, but a bit shabby sometimes with small tears in some of the Bed Sheets, etc, which need to be Checked & Changed. They have a Small Restaurant which serves only Vegetarian Food, but the Food is Tasty and Freshly Prepared. Breakfast is included in the rate, but only 2 Veg Items are served daily for Breakfast (eg. Idli with Sambhar/Chutney and Poha or Poha and Aloo Paratha with Curd and Pickle) ***** with Tea/Coffee and there is no variety to choose from. Of course, one can always order other items from the Menu, but this has to be paid for. Only 1 Bottle of Water is provided on the 1st day and no replenishments are provided thereafter, so you either have to buy Bottled Water or request the Hotel Staff to refill your bottles from the Aquaguard in the Restaurant. The Service by the Staff is good and the Owner is at the Reception for most of the day, so this really helps. The Hotel is at a very remote location and virtually nothing is available nearby. You need to have your own Vehicle to stay at this place, as otherwise you will be Severely Handicapped. All in all, a Decent, Small, Budget Hotel to stay at, if you have your Own Vehicle and just want to Chill Out and eat your meals mostly at the Hotel Restaurant itself or order Room Service, as all other Restaurants, Hotels and Eating Places are Very Far Away.
