Nice modern and spacious hotel. Rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. Breakfast was good and staff cooed quite well as it was very busy. Big car park .

It’s in a great location, the staff seemed helpful and friendly enough and even moved my colleague when he complained about his room(air con issues). The room was clean, no complaints there even though it’s now getting slightly dated. My only gripe is that at night the air conditioning made a right racket (I decided to stay), In the end I had to turn it off which wasn’t great as I was too warm to sleep. Not the worse Premier Inn I’ve stayed in but definitely not the best. Could also do with some USB charging ports in the rooms.

I like this hotel and have stayed here a few times. It is well located near Blackburn just off the M65 at junction 5. The on site pub is nice and there are also numerous places nearby where you can socialise and eat and drink. The room is of a high standard and modern, the bathroom is more than adequate for shaving or doing makeup properly. The room was warm and comfortable even though it was quite cold outside. Check-in is straight forward and handled in the adjoining pub. Once you have checked in your key card gives you access into the hotel accommodation. There is a night porter available when the pub is closed but you won't see staff in the hotel accomodation apart from housekeepers in the morning so it's useful if a little discretion is required.

On arrival there was no one on reception then a member of bar staff appeared to check me in. The room was basic but clean. The shower may have been used before I arrived judging by the water in the tray and shampoo balanced on the upper bar of the shower. The shower was barely a trickle of water which was inadequate to wash away the soap suds leading to a very dangerous shower. The TV did not work either. I complained to reception (no one there) and the same bar person arrived, viewed the problem and said there was nothing he could do - fair point as it wasn't his job. There was no one trained in reception duties available overnight to fix the problems until 9am the next morning. To his credit he did return and fixed the TV but it shouldn't be his responsibility. The mattress had a deep dip in it, the bathroom bins are uncovered and there are no sanitary bags. There was also damage to the wall. I was promised a phone call the next day. Still waiting for that phone call. I only stayed here because I had to and I will not return.

Rooms are spacious, good beds with lovely pillows. Super clean hotel, can’t fault the cleanliness. Really good breakfast. TV in bedroom but limited Chanels, lots of plug sockets in the room, beautiful bathroom with massive shower, parking on site, very lovely listed building, reception very helpful and very friendly, tea and coffee machine in room, lighting is good which you don’t get very often in hotel rooms. The breakfast lady was lovely, great service, good coffee. No communal seating area or lounge, no drinks bar but so close to the bars and local shops.
