Couldn't get to sleep on the last night (a Saturday) because of the heavy footed chatty people above, wasn't going to venture out to reception in my PJ's and also didn't relish at asking the young girls on reception to address the noise in case it became unpleasant for them. Anyway I sent an email thinking there was not a lot Travelodge could do about it but just felt that as I was awake at 2am I'd do something pro-active! On my return home Travelodge sent a very pleasant email and a voucher as a gesture of goodwill - which I wasn't expecting. Where we stayed was tired and dated but clean, the perfect location for our needs. The staff were excellent and we couldn't fault them, friendly and cheery, always happy to help with a great attitude, I would have no problem staying there again for this reason.

Nice clean hotel, spacious room, comfortable bed, everything you need. I had an issue with the radiator on the first night as it just wouldn't turn off, this was quickly sorted once I told a member of staff. On my last night I couldn't get into my room with the keycard, it was already gone midnight so I was tired and just wanted to go to sleep, It took 2 trip's to reception from the top floor before this was resolved which left me quite annoyed. On my last morning I paid for breakfast, It was a little disappointing, very basic selection on the continental side and the sausages were very poor quality and couldn't eat. There is however a Toby carvery across the road where I had breakfast the day before at a cheaper price, I would recommend going there instead
