Very stylish and relaxing hotel in lovely grounds at the edge of Propriano, which is a 15 minute walk away (20 if you want to go to the far side of town). Beautiful view over the gulf and dramatic sunsets from a fine balcony. Room spacious with good air-con (much-needed). Staff friendly. Two good pools. Ate there one night and the food was very good, although there were no printed menus - QR codes don't work for us so had to order from a tablet. Great breakfast with lots of local produce and very decent coffee from the machine. One quibble: we ordered a cocktail from the pool bar one evening and the barman told us to sit at a table and he'd bring it over. So we waited. And waited. Then we saw him take someone else's order, prepare their drinks and serve them before going to chat to other customers. We waited a little longer then left. Mere forgetfulness? Or anti-Brit bias? No idea. A shame though.
