The hotel is conveniently located in front of White Beach, and D'Mall is also nearby.
I chose this hotel because I wanted to use the Sky Pool.
The first room we were assigned was on the 1st floor, next to the adjacent building (Room 109). There was a bamboo hedge that provided some privacy, but staff frequently walked past it, making it feel unsettling. So, I requested a room change. The next room was on the top floor, Room 505, which was bright, but had a view of a neighboring ruin...
Rooms in the cheaper categories are just like this.
The staff are kind and always greet you. I stayed for 3 nights, and the breakfast varied slightly each day, which was nice.
I enjoyed drinks at the pool bar in the Sky Pool from midday.
However, I'd recommend merely enjoying the view of the sea at Station 2.

Our stay at Hennan Lagoon was truly wonderful! The service was excellent, and the entire place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were especially impressive—everyone was friendly, accommodating, and always willing to assist with a warm smile.
The only downside for us was that the resort was a bit far from the front beach, which made it slightly less convenient if you wanted to go back and forth frequently. Other than that, everything was fantastic.

This is rhe 3rd time my wife and myself have visited the Henann Palm in Boracay to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we love it here. This is our favorite hotel in Borocay with lovely staff and this year we brought the family with us who also loved it here. We will be back in the future. Also last year we visited another Henann hotel in Panglao Bohol and that also was amazing. Excellent 5-star hotel, Filipino style. It's very authentic and charming, with access to two neighboring luxury hotels. The staff are incredibly hardworking. They aren't experts at making cocktails, but if you explain what you want, they'll make it as requested. The spirits are good, and so are the bottled wines. There are many different romantic setups and similar options on the beach. The private beach is very clean, and the scenery and sea are magical. Breakfast is quite good, but otherwise, like everywhere else on this island, they don't seem to know how to cook. We tried eating at the Shangri-La and the hotel next door, and everywhere it felt like the chef wouldn't even eat their own food; I won't even bother describing it, everything was off. You really need to find a place with good food right away, otherwise you risk eating only bread rolls! 😁 But the coffee is very good there, and you can take it to go from breakfast. The staff are very friendly. As for cons, there's no late check-out. We loved our 5-night stay at Henann Garden Resort. The room was clean, the amenities were great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the Grand Room with a bathtub, which we really enjoyed.
The resort has four swimming pools, and we had fun swimming from one pool to another.We also had a whole-body massage in our room at an affordable price, which made the stay even more relaxing.
Breakfast was ok and the choices for Muslim guests were quite limited. There was also a fire show every night, which added to the holiday atmosphere.
The resort has very easy access to the beachfront, including beach lounge chairs facing the sea. It is only a few minutes’ walk to D’Mall, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and laundry services nearby.

I used to like staying at Hennan Resorts in Boracay, this one however was quite a walk to the beach and had a bit of a struggle at night.
Also, the rooms aren’t soundproof, on our last night, lots of people were loud around 1:30am (most likely late check in guests) without consideration. The next door neighbor were obviously heard making love. I am addressing this issue so it will be avoided.
Overall stay wasn’t bad when it comes to the service and amenities but I am disappointed in how the rooms weren’t quiet enough since we paid extra for an upgrade. I was expecting my money’s worth.FromPHP 3,311

So, what can I say about the hotel... overall, it seems there's nothing better on the island. It has its own secluded bay, 2 beaches, and an excellent pool area. All issues are resolved instantly; they are very customer-oriented. We stayed with 3 children: there's plenty to keep them occupied. There's a kids' club for younger children and one for teenagers (something for everyone's interests). The coffee at breakfast is good; the only downside is very limited European food (you can order porridge through the waiter). We liked the restaurant by the bar and the steakhouse. Our whole stay was great overall — we really enjoyed our time here!
Check-in was a bit delayed at first because they hadn’t yet prepared the complimentary cake and birthday setup they promised, but it wasn’t a big issue at all. The lobby is lovely, smells fresh and clean, and we were served welcome drinks right away while we waited. The staff were generally polite and helpful too.
I did witness one incident though: another guest was having a long discussion about not getting back their security deposit for their second room. It took a while, and the guest even asked to speak with a manager, but in the end it was sorted out and it turned out the guest was right all along. I’m just thankful nothing like that happened to us during our stay.
Location-wise, it’s right on the beachfront — perfect! Our room was a bit of a walk from the shore, but honestly, we didn’t mind it at all. It gave us a chance to move around, get some steps in, or walk off our meals before heading back 😂
The room itself was very spacious and smelled nice, but we did encounter quite a number of mosquitoes and fleas — I ended up with a lot of bites! Thankfully I didn’t get sick or contract dengue, but I hope they can improve pest control, especially since the rooms are surrounded by greenery and a forest-like setting. The shower was also a little tricky to adjust the temperature and pressure, but manageable.
What I really appreciated was their service: they constantly refilled our drinking water and even replenished all toiletries and supplies regularly, even if we hadn’t finished using them yet — not many hotels do that! They also provided free slippers when we asked, and having umbrellas available in the room for us to use anywhere was such a lifesaver, especially since it was rainy season and my husband forgot ours back in Manila. ☔
The breakfast buffet was another highlight — the selection changed every day, and everything tasted fresh and delicious. My husband and I truly looked forward to it each morning.
Overall, our whole stay was wonderful. We will definitely book here again when we return to Boracay — just next time, I’ll make sure to bring plenty of insect repellent and lotion! 😂FromPHP 2,268

Overall, we had a good stay at Golden Phoenix. Our first room was unfortunately quite noisy. There was ongoing repair work outside using loud tools, the bathroom light wasn’t working properly, the AC remote had a loose battery, and the smart TV couldn’t connect to WiFi, so we were limited to cable channels. The key card door also needed some attention.
We requested a room change the next day, and the staff accommodated us. The room on the 3rd floor was much quieter, the WiFi worked perfectly with the smart TV, and we were finally able to relax and watch our shows. The only downside was that the shower in the second room didn’t have hot water.
Despite a few maintenance issues, the hotel is still a decent budget-friendly option in a great beachfront location. With a few improvements to room maintenance, it would be an even better place to stay.FromPHP 1,964

Nice pools, solid little gym, we also had a nice Swedish massage which was fantastic, and again the breakfast buffet was terrific. Our stay at Alta Vista Hotel was truly unforgettable, especially since this was our self-gift birthday celebration. Thankful kami sa discount for our 1-day extension, plus the special-time shuttle pickup on our last day and the packed breakfast pabaon—sobrang thoughtful!
A big thank you din for the birthday cake surprise, it really meant a lot to us. Special mention to the manager and the whole team for going the extra mile.
We also loved all the packages included, especially the trips to Puka Beach and Ilig-Iligan Beach with towels and on-time pickup—very organized and hassle-free. So let's begin with the positives. The staff is excellent, beyond excellent they will go out of everything to make you feel accommodated. They are unbelievably attentive. Another positive aspect is its location which is literally right on the sand. Can't get much closer to the beach than this hotel. And did I mention that the staff was very accommodating? When you want to lounge on the beach, the staff will rush out immediately to position the lounges and put towels down. They truly work hard to assist your every need when you are on the beach. An improvement would be updated lounge chairs with cushions but you are not lounging on the sand unless you want to.
So as I said, I want to start off with a positive but there are serious negatives about this hotel in fact to the point at which I would suggest booking a different hotel if at all possible. First on the list of negatives is that the food at the restaurant is less than mediocre. Yes you will get breakfast but in all honesty, you might just want to pass that up. Nothing is kept hot...nothing. Everything is served lukewarm or cold except for the eggs which they do make right away...the fresh cooked eggs is the only exception to luke-warm or in some cases even slightly undercooked food. However, what should be cold is never cold, for example even though the milk has a sign that says cold milk it is always room temperature as well as the juices. The cold milk is warm...always,,,,while the food that should be warm or hot is always cold or virtually well on its way to being cold. It's interesting that even though they have the small gas flame burners at the bottom of containers for food, they are never on. Additionally I would recommend that if you are not accustomed to luke-warm to cold Filipino style food again, you may want stay eat somewhere else because most of the food served is Filipino style and while Filipino food can be quite good, not here.
Now for the accommodations. The rooms are at best motel style rooms with the AC blasting down on you constantly. Your only alternative is to turn the AC on and off throughout the night to get a break. The rooms themselves are rustic and extremely noisy because everything faces the courtyard and you have concrete surrounding you so it echoes in any conversation especially at night. Sound just echoes throughout the entire place. There is constant noise so bring your ear plugs.
I will say, staff keeps everything very clean so no problems there at all. It's just that the entire facility is not well-designed or well maintained for most travelers' expectations. For example, The hot water in the shower it's turned on similar to a faucet bathtub style but the water literally trickles out (at least in my room). Fortunately you do get some hot water coming through the shower head and while it is barely enough to take a shower, it is not what you would expect at a hotel price.
I selected this hotel because it has so many good reviews online and it has a lot of 10s out of10s. One site lists it as 4.9 out of 5, I thought that was great but after a few nights, I am convinced that these reviews are from the owners, owner friends or staff or perhaps all of them. It is completely beyond my imagination that this hotel can get those kinds of reviews especially as there are other hotels that are around to compare with. I have traveled a lot and this is probably not more then a five to six at most out of 10 and the only reason it's that high because of staff. Upon checking in, we received welcome sweets that weren't very tasty! (But they looked cute, so I was happy).
The hotel had a few restaurants, but there was a Filipino restaurant and a mall nearby that caught our eye, so we ate lunch and dinner there.
The breakfast area had high ceilings and felt very open and spacious! There was a wide variety of delicious food.
One thing to note is that the locations of the pools other than the main one were a bit hard to find. Also, when I was walking around the hotel at night, I encountered large bugs and frogs! 😭FromPHP 13,055

This is a wonderful hotel, exactly as described, and the photos are completely accurate. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay throughout your vacation. Any issues that arose were resolved in minutes. You can tell they truly value their reputation. Just a heads-up: payment at the hotel is cash-only.
The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, beyond words. It's right in the heart of all the entertainment and leisure spots, and only a 5-minute walk to the sea.
I do want to mention one significant drawback: there was a lot of noise from equipment operating near our room, which was quite unpleasant. You do get used to it over time and eventually tune it out, but it might be an important consideration for some. In the last few days of our stay, the hot water started to disappear, becoming only lukewarm, and this issue couldn't be resolved. Also, the Wi-Fi suddenly stopped working completely on our last night (Friday to Saturday) without any explanation, so we had to use mobile internet until check-out.
For us, the breakfasts were a notable downside – the selection of dishes was extremely limited. Coffee was only served from a pot (likely instant), and coffee from the machine was an extra charge. However, after I brought this up, the issue with the coffee machine was resolved. For the next six breakfasts, they made complimentary machine coffee for my partner and me.

The beach is just a short walk from the homestay, and the staff are very kind and accommodating. If you're working from home, you'll need to work in the lobby. We spent a long time choosing a hotel and made the perfect choice with One Crescent Hotel 🥰👌. It's located in a quiet, cozy spot, surrounded by lots of trees and greenery. A charming path leads to the hotel, and I absolutely loved walking this route to the beach, past the church. The walk to the sea is very convenient, just 5 minutes, and the best part is that we arrived right at Boracay Island's main attraction – Willy's Rock. It's the most beautiful place on White Beach 😍👍, with the softest white sand and incredibly clear, blue sea ❤️.
We really loved the hotel. It's a small, 4-story building, with the reception on the ground floor. It’s a quiet and cozy place with incredibly kind and attentive staff who always seem to know what guests need and provide it with maximum convenience and smiles! We especially grew fond of the hotel's administrator, a woman named Ruby. She is so attentive, caring, and kind; she even helped my husband organize my birthday, and it was the best day ever!!! This sweet lady is the heart and soul of this hotel, and our stay was made extra special because of her. We truly felt at home.
Breakfasts at the hotel are à la carte, with Filipino, European, and continental options. The portions are generous, we were never hungry! You can also order breakfast to your room.
The bed was comfortable, with good bedding and nice white towels (the beach towels were also very decent). There’s a balcony, a fridge, always hot water, a TV where you can connect your phone to watch whatever you want, and a smart speaker. You can also send clothes for laundry. The hotel provides beach mats, which is very convenient since there are hardly any sun loungers on the beach.
We are really looking forward to returning and will definitely choose this cozy hotel again!!!

Room was really cute! Attic room but it didnt feel hot. Nice bed and pillows-had a good night’s sleep here.
The soundproofing is non-existent however. You can hear the families on the other rooms if they are on the hallways. Also, if people are smoking in the general areas, the smoke smell can get it your room which pissed me off.

Initially, we were given a connecting room, and the soundproofing was terrible; you could hear everything happening through the walls and door in the next room. On the plus side, the hotel was accommodating and moved us to a higher category, non-connecting room the next day.
Unfortunately, this hotel is in serious need of a good renovation, both inside and out.
The location is good, and the sun loungers on the beach are comfortable, but there aren't many, so you have to reserve a spot early in the morning. Several times after housekeeping, we found other people's hair in the bed, which was quite unpleasant.
Only one breakfast stood out during our entire stay; on other days, the breakfasts were sparse with limited choices.

We enjoyed this hotel. The room was spacious and the view was simply stunning. Breakfast was very tasty. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have a small private area with sun loungers and umbrellas. Beach was amazing too.

This hotel is awesome! It truly felt like visiting grandma for summer vacation, bringing back so much nostalgia. We were very comfortable staying here. We initially stayed in a deluxe room – it was spacious and super! The decor was a bit old-fashioned, but that wasn't a drawback; it was part of its charm. Later, we extended our stay and moved to a standard room, which was also comfortable. It was smaller, of course, but had a more modern interior. However, it didn't have a fridge, which was a downside. All the rooms absolutely match the photos on the website. There's a wardrobe, hangers – everything you need to store your personal belongings. The room was very clean, which is always important to me, especially during long stays. Housekeeping and linen/towel changes are available upon request. The breakfasts were wonderful, hearty, and offered a great selection to suit all tastes. The staff were simply lovely, so kind and ready to help with any questions. The location is also excellent, tucked away (in the middle of the island) at the border of Stations 1 and 2 – you couldn't ask for a more convenient spot; everything is nearby, and there's no noise. Just a heads-up: the hotel doesn't provide tea/coffee sachets or shampoo/toothbrushes, only soap. You'll need to bring all of that with you, especially tea! Finding tea in the Philippines is generally a struggle – it's very expensive in stores and there's not much selection; they even sell it individually! 🙈 Next time I visit this country, I'll definitely bring my own. I've attached photos of the standard room and the breakfasts. I didn't even photograph the deluxe. It's great that all rooms have a balcony or terrace with a table and chairs. The only thing missing for my complete happiness was a kitchen where I could occasionally cook something when I got tired of restaurant food. The hotel is in a great location. It is right on the beach. Restaurants, bars and stores were all right outside hotel. As you walk out of hotel, you will be bombarded with people selling you things: hair braiding, excursions, seafood, tattoos, bracelets, massages… etc but that’s everywhere on the beach. Hotel staff were great! They surprised my son with a birthday song and a treat on his birthday. We didn’t even let them know it was his birthday, so they must have noticed on his passport. They took photos and videos of this nice surprise. Upon checkout, hotel also gave us personalize bracelets as thank you gifts. Swimming pool was nice and not too busy. Breakfast was not bad. Water pressure was terrible. At some point, there was no water coming out of the faucet at all. We couldn’t shower or wash our hands. The whole place was simple, but still feels like a classy hotel somehow. The room wasn't big but spacious enough for a family. The ambiance is good, won't feel like a cheap hotel, yet the price is very affordable. The beds are relaxing. The whole place is clean especially the rooms. The location wasn't beach side but it's very near the beach and accessible to it, also to stores near by, especially the D'mall. It's easy to take a local ride because it's in the center, and front of the road.
The breakfast has few choices, but it was fair enough for us. It was decent and usual Filipino breakfast which we really like.
The staffs are nice and hospitable. We didn't encounter any staff that has bad attitude, they were really nice which makes me always leave a tip for them, even for the FO personnel.
This place will definitely be one of our choices again whenever we come back to Boracay.

The bed was very dry, and the staff cleaned it several times a day, turned it down, and thoughtfully placed a bottle of water and cookies for evening tea on the nightstands. The breakfasts were beyond praise – everything was à la carte, you order it, and it was personally prepared for you. They also brought a basket with hot bread, ham, cheese, and fruit. The location is excellent - it’s right along the main road, making it very convenient to get to the beachfront (only 5 mins walk) and other attractions. What we loved most was how easy it was to catch an e-trike to get around. It only costs ₱15 per person to Station 2 and ₱20 per person to Station 1 (make sure to ask if it is for sharing, cause some e-trikes are for hire where you’ll be asked to pay for a special price). You can definitely walk if you prefer, but with kids, taking an e-trike is much more convenient. 😅
Housekeeping is available daily upon request, the staff are warm and friendly, and the suite is spacious and comfortable. 🙌🏻🙌🏻

The hotel is located in Station 3, which makes it a little less convenient if you want to explore the restaurants and cafés around Station 1 and 2. However, their breakfast and service are what really made our stay worthwhile.
The hotel is very straightforward and has smaller pools, but we didn’t mind at all because it was less crowded. They also have an elevator, which is a plus. I stayed here while I was working, and one of my favorite things was being able to sit on their beachfront chairs after breakfast, work, and enjoy the beautiful view at the same time.
I think this is one of the most affordable hotels in the Mandarin group, but it definitely doesn’t feel left behind. The rooms are bigger than those at Mandarin Nest, and I personally found the breakfast much better as well. One thing they could improve in the future is the flooring or tiles, as they’re starting to look a little dated.
I also loved the small thoughtful touches. They gave us good-night treats every evening, welcome drinks upon arrival, and their staple beach slippers that you can even take home.
Overall, it’s less crowded and has one of the best beachfront experiences. At times, it honestly feels like you have the beachfront almost to yourself. If you prefer a quieter stay with good service, spacious rooms, great breakfast, and a relaxing beachfront atmosphere, this is a great choice.
