Holy Week

Holy Week is the week before Easter Sunday and remembers the final days of Jesus Christ’s life. It is also one of the busiest travel periods of the year as many people return to their home provinces.

Popular Holy Week Traditions

Holy Week

During Holy Week, you may see many traditions across the Philippines. These practices show the strong faith and community spirit of many Filipinos.

  • Visita Iglesia: Families or groups visit several churches in one evening to pray, usually on Holy Thursday.
  • Processions: Many towns hold large religious processions, especially on Good Friday. People walk through the streets carrying statues of saints and scenes from the life of Jesus. The Santo Entierro, a statue of the dead Christ placed in a glass casket, is often the highlight.
  • Pabasa: Communities hold the Pabasa, a continuous chanting of the Pasyón, which tells the story of Jesus’ life and sacrifice. It may last for many hours or even days.
  • Senakulo: Some towns perform a Senakulo, a live street play that shows the Passion of Christ. These performances can draw large crowds.
  • Fasting and Simple Meals: Many Filipinos avoid meat on Good Friday and eat simple food such as fish, vegetables, or traditional snacks like biko, suman, and binignit.
  • Quiet Reflection: Some families stay at home, pray together, or watch religious programs on TV.

Different regions celebrate Holy Week in their own way, so travelers may experience different traditions depending on where they visit.

🏨 Pro Tip: Book your hotel early during Holy Week, as many popular destinations can fill up quickly during this busy travel period.

Why Filipinos Travel During Holy Week

Holy Week gives many Filipinos several days off from work and school, so it becomes one of the busiest travel periods of the year.

  • Returning to hometowns
Many people travel back to their provinces to spend time with family and attend church activities together.
  • Family vacations
Some families plan short trips to popular beach destinations like Boracay, Cebu, and Bohol.
  • Taking a break from the city
Travelers from busy cities like Manila often head to cooler places such as Baguio or Sagada to relax.
  • Time for reflection and rest
Others choose quiet places where they can pray, attend church events, and reflect during the Holy Week period.
💡 Travel Tip: The biggest travel rush is on Holy Wednesday and Maundy Thursday, with many people returning on Easter Sunday or Monday. Expect heavy traffic and crowded terminals.

Located at the heart of station 2 where the fun starts. Walk to the beach as soon as you come out of the hotel but very busy. If you want a quiet and tranquil holiday this is not for you. It’s like going through a labyrinth everytime going home to your room but can get use to it. Check in was a bit of a pain since we came in a large group and felt a bit deceptive as our deluxe room (king bed) was upgraded to premier with double bed and a single which didn’t work for couples longing for a king bed. But I guess the upgrade was more for us to be closer to the beach. Would be nice if the reason was explained to us. But no big issue and would not fault the hotel for that small hiccup. The rooms are a dated but reasonably clean and the best was comfort if the bed and came in white sheets. Our room has balcony and iverlooking the pool. Got everything you need in a resort. Short walk to the shops and cafes you’ll never get hungry. Lots of fire dance in different spots of the whole stretch of station 2. Big thanks to France the hotel chauffeur who drive us to the hospital for my daughter’s emergency situation. It’s a shame that it wasn’t his duty when we checked out but hope that he got our tip in thanks to his efforts to us. Thanks to the entire staff including the nurse who assisted my daughter. Overall we were happy despite the short stay and will definitely come back to this brand of hotel. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Two pools, good location, and the hotel feels quite new. They even let us check in early! The buffet restaurant is excellent, and the sea-view restaurant with its evening performances, including staff dancing, was a real highlight. My only minor quibble is that drinks at the buffet are an extra charge in the evening, but other than that, everything was fantastic!

The hotel was wonderful from start to finish. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and always ready to help, which made the stay feel easy and welcoming. The beach was beautiful: clean, calm, and perfect for both relaxing and swimming. The property itself is very well maintained and offers a wide range of amenities, so there was always something to enjoy without ever feeling crowded. We recently stayed at Henann Prime Beach Resort in Boracay, and the experience was exceptional, thanks to the outstanding staff, including the concierge, front office, housekeeping, pool attendant, and F&B team. The location was perfect. The staff consistently demonstrated friendliness and professionalism. The Filipino customer service exceeded our expectations. The warm smiles and greetings we received were particularly noteworthy. Thank you for the birthday surprise for my son, which he thoroughly enjoyed during our stay. He was indeed sad to leave. My experience at the Henann Garden Resort in Boracay was simply spectacular! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and contagious friendliness from the entire staff. The service is, without a doubt, one of the hotel's highlights – everyone is incredibly helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile. The hotel is extremely clean and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably tidied up daily. Cleanliness is taken very seriously, which gives guests a huge sense of confidence and tranquility. The location is also fantastic – right in the heart of Station 2, close to everything, yet with a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The pools are wonderful and very well-kept, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Breakfast is another highlight: very varied, with delicious options for every taste – from Asian to Western dishes, all fresh and flavorful. It really makes you want to enjoy every morning there. Without a doubt, an excellent stay! I highly recommend Henann Garden to anyone looking for comfort, a great location, and top-notch service. I will definitely return.

The breakfast buffet was amazing, and our room was spotless. On Chinese New Year's Day, they even gave us a complimentary dinner buffet, which was a really thoughtful touch. The hotel provides towel cards (the towels were warm when we received them, having been high-temperature sterilized), which is super convenient for island hopping and swimming at the beach. It's also very close to D'Mall, making it incredibly easy to grab food and shop there daily. Just turn right out of the hotel, and a small path leads directly to the beach, offering stunning views. Separately, I had booked round-trip ferry and shuttle transfers to Boracay with Bamboo, but I lost my voucher right before our trip. I asked around outside the hotel without success, but when I returned to the front desk, they made a call and sorted everything out for us! On top of that, they even sent a sewing kit to our room late at night when we needed one. I'm so incredibly grateful for all their help! 👍👍👍 My 73-year-old dad had a wonderful time, and it was a very pleasant vacation.

Great value for money, and the service was warm and attentive. The resort boasts lush greenery and beautiful surroundings, with several pools. It's just a few minutes' walk to the white sandy beach, where the hotel provides its own sun loungers. The beachfront breakfast restaurant offers a wide selection – truly excellent! The room with a balcony was fairly clean, though the only downside was that it felt a bit old, and the air conditioning was very noisy!

To the Management of Astoria Current, We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful experience we had during our stay at Astoria Current from September 29 to October 1, 2025. Our family booked three rooms, and we are very pleased with the overall service and facilities provided by your hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the facilities were well-maintained, and the location was perfect, especially for enjoying the beach. We especially loved the slippers provided, which were very convenient to use by the shore. We also want to commend the delicious breakfast offerings. Our family truly looked forward to it every morning, and it became one of the highlights of our stay. Most importantly, we want to recognize the excellent customer service we received from your team. All the staff were friendly, accommodating, and professional. In particular, we would like to commend Mr. Ollie Atienza, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. His warm assistance left a lasting impression on us. We are also thankful to your team for making our father’s birthday more special during our stay. It meant a lot to our family and added to the memorable experience we had at your hotel. Overall, everything about our stay was excellent, and we would be more than happy to return. The hotel was great, the location suited our purpose perfectly as it had its own beach, had a decent breakfast, was close to the main markets, the staff was friendly, and the routes were accessible. They even had shuttles going to the mall outside, a photo for the schedules has been attached. We didn't take a lot of photos because of how much there was to do and see just in the hotel itself. There were a few negatives, but the positives outweighed them enough for the negatives to be ignored. The hotel has very little elevator access and most rooms require stairs to reach with the availability of an elevator, and you have to walk a lot from place-to-place, and the shuttles usually have a long wait time. The Kusine de Augusta is tipping towards the better side, though we didn't try any other restaurants there. The pools are really fun, though most of the public bathrooms were kind of bad. The beach has a beautiful North-East facing horizon with the famous Keyhole facing the East which makes it beautiful during sunrise. The nearby market has amazing options with one of our favourite place's photo attached. The resort staff, especially the security, are extremely kind and helpful. The food and drinks on the beach only accept cash. The foam pool party was very fun and a new experience, but the lifeguard will only tick you off and not help, proven by my sister choking once and me choking, no exaggeration, 4 times. Make sure to explore all the places, as each one has it's own charm. Overall, it's a great place for a laidback and relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at Savoy Hotel Boracay Newcoast and truly enjoyed every part of our experience. Our room was very comfortable, spotless, and well maintained. The cleanliness of the entire hotel really stood out — everything felt fresh, organized, and cared for. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a great variety and high quality; it was something we genuinely looked forward to each morning. What made our stay even more special was the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Jian, who helped arrange our transportation between the hotel and the mall, was incredibly kind, helpful, and reliable. His assistance made getting around easy and stress-free. At Savoy Café, we were warmly taken care of all staff members especially by Helen, Andrea and Cheky. All were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and they always made us feel comfortable and well looked after. A very special thank you goes to Acy from housekeeping. She was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. We were pleasantly surprised when she decorated our room with heart-shaped blankets, which was such a sweet and personal touch. She also kindly provided us with rubber gloves when we needed them — a small detail that showed great care and attentiveness. Awesome clean, very good location. Though not on the beach but just 3 min walk to beach. All employees are well behaved and courteous. Booked two rooms for 5 nights and found the towels have stains some days. Hand towels are provided on request. Rooms are cleaned once a day whenever requested. Very good attitude but they sometimes do not or forget to refill the amenities, upon informing immediately takes action. Though not a big issue, but they do not provide Wellcome drinks and even do not provide water to drink even your are thirsty before checkin. This is inhumane. They also did not provide extra glass in room for guests visiting us repeatedly. Do not believe they do not have extra glass. Breakfast is only Philippine food, everyday almost same. One day they served us grilled chicken for us since beef was in the menu for breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel 😊

The in-room amenities are pretty standard, similar to what you'd find in a 1000+ RMB per night hotel back home – nothing special, nothing bad, just average. The 2300 RMB per night price mainly covers the hotel's private beach, services (kids' club, with daily craft classes and occasional pool parties), and the public facilities (three pools, including a kids' pool). We stayed for 10 nights, and when we checked out, they provided complimentary transfer to the airport (car + speedboat + car). We only had to pay the government's environmental protection fee and island entry fee ourselves. This service was absolutely excellent! When you check out, you might want to ask if they can offer this service. If it's your first time staying and you want an airport pick-up, I recommend contacting the hotel directly, as the airport transfer fee through Ctrip for this hotel is very expensive. The hotel is next door to the Movenpick Resort, and then next to that is the Shangri-La Hotel. You might want to compare prices.

We stayed here for 4D3N, the location is located almost the end of Station 3, not crowded but it has the best sunset view. Swimming pools are clean, buffet breakfast is good. Kudos to Sir Jesse of Sky Lounge, I celebrated my birthday and he spontaneously gave us complimentary drink and flashed my name in the LED screen. The only downside we experienced was the broken elevator. The bath gel smells so nice! We will definitely go back! Superb stay! You need to walk by foot from the highway, around 10mins walk but locals knew the hotel by “BOC” and is famous for foam party. One of the highlights of our stay is the fire dancers who performed. We stayed at Hotel Belmont Boracay for four nights. The staff was genuinely top-notch! They kindly provided an early check-in after our extremely last-minute booking, which was incredibly helpful. We loved the peaceful, isolated location and having a private beach nearby was a big plus, though we wish the shuttle service schedule was more frequent. Unfortunately, our stay was significantly impacted by room problems. Our original room on the 5th floor was extremely humid to the point where the floors and walls were visibly wet. We complained, and a technician was sent who changed the AC to a freezing 14°C… which apparently was the only way to reduce the dampness, but it made the room uncomfortably cold for sleeping. Only after the first night did they agree to move us. While the second room was much better with the humidity, the cleaning was severely lacking: · We found a lot of hair from previous guests in the bathroom. · None of the amenities were switched out (face tissues, toilet tissues, tea bags). · Most disturbingly, the shower smelled strongly of urine, which was extremely unfortunate. This showed us the hotel clearly knows about the humidity issue but didn't proactively switch us, and the room change felt rushed without proper housekeeping. The breakfast was good, not bad. Belmont is a hotel with extremely wonderful staff in a great location, but let down by critical maintenance and cleanliness failures. Double-check your room immediately upon arrival.

The second time I stayed at Exploration. It is a worry-free choice to stay at Exploration in Boracay. It is located in S1, which is relatively quiet, the beach quality is also good, and there is free airport pick-up and drop-off. In addition, the attitude of every service staff I met is super nice~ Although the swimming pool is not big, there is a hot spring pool next to it, and it is still very comfortable to soak in it; there are not many types of breakfast, and the more popular dishes are not available if you go too late; the room is quite large, but if you are sensitive to light, remember to bring an eye mask, because the room uses roller blinds, which do not block light and leak light seriously, so you don’t sleep well, and you are very tired when you go to bed late and wake up early. The shower water pressure is sufficient, which is great~ After all, it is important to take a comfortable hot bath. If the room can be replaced with blackout curtains, I think I will choose Exploration again when I go to Boracay next time.

The hotel is cozy, clean, and beautiful! The location is super convenient, right in the middle of a bunch of cafes and little shops. You don't have to go far for anything. Even though the hotel is right in the thick of things, there's a courtyard that provides a nice escape from the crowds, which is really handy. In the evenings, there's entertainment in the courtyard. There's also a rooftop pool at the hotel. And the massage was excellent; we went to a therapist named Lara. The service is also great. The ladies at the front desk are always ready to help. We asked them to pack a breakfast for our child because we were checking out early, and our child doesn't eat much in the morning. We managed to have breakfast ourselves at 6 AM. They prepared a breakfast for the child and accommodated our requests. The breakfasts at the hotel are a solid 4 out of 5. I felt there weren't quite enough dishes, but you definitely won't go hungry. The rooms have everything you need for comfort – robes, slippers, and toiletries. There's even hair conditioner and body lotion. This is an excellent hotel – I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a 2-minute walk to the sea. There aren't any private sun loungers, but they do provide beach towels.

Everything was great. We had a family suite with 2 rooms, 2 showers, a kitchen-living room with a table, and a veranda where you could sit. Since there were two showers in the room, we never had any issues with waiting turns))). The location is excellent, you can walk to D'Mall. Yes, it might not be beachfront, but considering that stations 2-3 were often crowded, we always ended up leaving anyway. Breakfasts were decent; you could always find something to eat. The hotel is quite worn out and, especially during holidays, not worth the money. Our room was in building B; it was spacious and quiet, making for a comfortable sleep. However, the windows faced an alley between buildings, so very little daylight entered. The air conditioning worked well but was very noisy. The internet worked fine in the lobby and on the beach, but it was very weak in the room. There are a few sun loungers and cushions on the beach, but you need to claim them by 8 AM, or even earlier. By 9 AM, everything is usually taken. The loungers don't have soft mattresses. You can get beach towels and mats from the lobby if you don't manage to get a sun lounger. There's an infinity pool on the rooftop where you can watch the sunset away from the crowds, but there are only a few loungers there too, so you also need to get there early. Breakfasts include various types of meat, scrambled eggs, rice, fruits, pastries, toast, coffee, some sweets, and vegetables. Overall, you'll be full, but everything is cooked with a lot of oil. I wouldn't recommend having lunch or dinner here or ordering food by the pool; there are many cafes and restaurants nearby where you can eat delicious food. In the evenings, there's always some entertainment at dinner, like music or a fire show. The hotel is located in the most central part of Station 2, just steps from D'Mall, with Epic and Om clubs nearby. However, for us, there were too many people, especially from sunset onwards. There were also many vendors offering their services and goods, which got annoying, and many people just strolling around or sitting on the beach. It was noisy and lacked any sense of privacy. Cleaning consists of changing towels and emptying the trash.

Had an amazing stay with my bestie here at Microtel Boracay! This hotel is located at Station 1, it's far from the crowds of Station 2. Offering a calm and private vibe right in front of the beach. The room was spacious and clean, the food was delicious, staffs are friendly and the guest service was excellent. Plus, they offer a free shuttle to D'Mall, which is super convenient. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and peaceful stay!

Boat Station 1 Boracay Island|0.42km from city center
Shore Time Hotel Boracay is often considered one of the best ”value-for-money” options in the highly coveted Station 1 area. While it isn’t a massive luxury resort, it excels at providing a clean, boutique experience for travelers who want to be in the quieter, more premium part of White Beach without the five-star price tag. Here is a comprehensive review based on current guest feedback and hotel features. 📍 Location: The Sweet Spot The hotel is located right along the main road of Station 1, which means: • Beach Access: You are literally 20–30 steps away from the finest white sand on the island. While it is not directly on the sand (you cross a small paved path/road), it feels like a beachfront property. • The Neighborhood: It is much quieter than Station 2 but still walkable (about 10 minutes) to D’Mall. You are also very close to iconic spots like Willy’s Rock and Jonah’s Fruit Shake. • Convenience: There is an Andok’s (famous local roasted chicken) and a 7-Eleven nearby, making late-night snacks very easy to find. 🛏️ Rooms & Amenities The rooms are known for being modern, minimalist, and exceptionally clean, though they vary in size. • Room Types: * Loft Rooms: Popular for groups or families; they utilize vertical space well. • Deluxe/Penthouse: Offer more space and, in some cases, partial views of the ocean. • Key Features: Strong AC (essential in Boracay), surprisingly fast Wi-Fi for the island, and very comfortable bedding. • Note on Accessibility: The hotel does not have an elevator. If you have mobility issues, be sure to request a lower-floor room. ⭐ The Highlights (Pros) • Exceptional Service: This is the most consistent praise in reviews. Guests frequently mention the ”warm welcome” with cold towels and drinks, and security guards who proactively help you cross the street to the beach. • Breakfast: Most bookings include a plated breakfast (Filipino or Continental) served at their partner restaurant, often praised for its quality and view. • Price Point: In an area (Station 1) dominated by expensive luxury hotels like Discovery Shores or Henann Prime, Shore Time offers a similar location for a fraction of the cost. ⚠️ Things to Consider (Cons) • Room Size: Some entry-level rooms (like the Pads or Lofts) can feel a bit snug if you have a lot of luggage. • Road Noise: Because it’s right on the main path, rooms facing the front may pick up some street noise during the day. • No Pool: Unlike the larger resorts, Shore Time does not have a swimming pool. However, with the best part of White Beach right outside, most guests don’t find this to be a dealbreaker. 🏆 Final Verdict Perfect for: Budget-conscious couples, small families, or solo travelers who prioritize a clean room and a prime Station 1 location over resort-style facilities like pools or gyms. Skip if: You want a ”secluded” resort experience or require an elevator and sprawling garden grounds. Would you like me to look up current room rates for your specific travel dates or check if they have any ongoing promos?

My recent stay at The District was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality. The staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request — big or small. The room was immaculately clean, stylishly designed, and equipped with all the comforts I could ask for. Every detail, from the crisp linens to the thoughtful amenities, made my stay feel both luxurious and relaxing. One of the standout features of my stay was the excellent customer service. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant staff, everyone went above and beyond to ensure my experience was perfect. They made me feel like a valued guest rather than just a visitor. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch — from the well-maintained fitness center to the cozy lounge and delightful dining options. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious choices. Overall, my time at The District was truly splendid. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, class, and outstanding service. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

Red Coconut is located at the heart of Station 2. A lively place day and night. My stay at the Red Coconut Hotel was truly delightful. The beach is conveniently located just outside the hotel, and the amenities are impeccably maintained. While the hotel rooms are currently undergoing repairs, which can result in some noise from wall work and other activities, it did not detract from the overall experience. All in all, it's a fantastic place to stay, combining comfort with a vibrant atmosphere.

We really love the place as well as the room we’re staying-beach front. I am really particular with scents or how the place/room/towels/linens smells like. The fresh smell of linens/towels added more points. Also the staff like Juvy and the rest that greets us everytime, the nice and welcoming F&B Manager that we spoke with too. Also, I appreciate the perfect birthday setup for me. Both the room setup and the surprise greeting song while having breakfast. Overall, a good place to stay, good food and good ambience. Great Stay for Families – Warm Staff and Kid-Friendly Amenities We had a wonderful time at Boracay Holiday Resort. The staff were warm and accommodating, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was great—delicious and satisfying throughout our stay. Our child especially loved the pool, which was clean, fun, and perfect for kids. There was a small hiccup with our original room, as we noticed some water seeping through from the room above. Thankfully, the staff were quick to respond and upgraded us to a better room without any hassle. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Boracay Holiday Resort to families traveling with kids. It’s a comfortable, friendly place to relax and enjoy Boracay.

We were checked in an hour early. The hotel and our room were clean, the staff was friendly, and towels were changed daily. They also provide separate towels for the beach. Breakfast was a buffet style. We had no issues with hot water or water pressure. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Now, for the things we didn't like. There's a rooster next door at a local's house that loves to crow starting at 2 AM. I slept with earplugs, so the rooster didn't bother me too much. Sometimes there was noise from drilling and loud people on the street, but that's not the hotel's fault. The room was cozy, but the balcony and inside felt a bit cramped. Breakfast had fruits and a small selection of food. The breakfast could be upgraded to excellent if there was an egg station where you could get fresh omelets made. The bed linen was clean but outdated and pilled. We would still return and recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in nice beach, white sand, an incredible spot, however not properly maintained. The access is bad, the water feature at the entry long stairs is not working and water seems to be stoped for a long time. It seems not very crowded with guests even on ***** New year holiday and only one restaurant running. The pool bar was closed. Missing one of our bookings for a shuttle, encountering a huge cockroach near the bed, being told that the room is not ready on check in and after 10 mins it's actually ready and made us walk all the way back to reception when the room was just near where we were didn't leave us with a good impression of the service. Staff needs to be more attentive not only saying ”good morning sir” but actually carrying for what are the guests needs. Hotel staff needs more training.

Usually they write about some disadvantages, but I would like to leave a positive review without any shortcomings. 1. Staff. Having visited many countries, I can definitely say that no one treated me with such warmth as in this country. They were ready to do everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. 2. Cleanliness. Every day they came and cleaned the room. 3. Location. You need to walk through the construction site for literally 2 minutes and you will find yourself on the embankment, essentially this is the first line, so you don’t need to walk far. 4. Buffet. You can always find something for yourself, even though it is small. We also ordered food from the hotel menu for lunch/dinner. It was very tasty, the portions are large, you won’t regret it! Special thanks to the staff, they took great care of us in many ways. If we come back we will 100% stay with you. We wish decent guests and prosperity to your hotel.

The best service we have ever experienced! The Ferra Hotel is very centrally located and only a few minutes' walk from the water sports activities on White Beach. The facilities and amenities are very good for the price range. But there is one reason in particular why I can highly recommend this hotel: the friendly staff and outstanding service! We travel extensively in Asia and Europe and are accustomed to different hotel categories. But even compared to our experiences in significantly more expensive and exclusive hotels, the service at Ferra Garden is outstanding. From all the staff at the reception desk to the service staff at the bar or in the restaurant to the cleaning staff, everyone at this hotel is more than friendly and courteous. It is never fake or over the top, but always authentic. Every chance glance leads to a beaming smile, and every conversation shows genuine interest and helpfulness. As we sit in the next hotel restaurant and look back on the incomparable service, I realize that I now find the way of communicating in most hotels even more unpleasant because it feels somewhat submissive. This review may seem exaggerated, but I would like to sincerely thank the entire team for that experience and the management for this incomparable corporate culture.

Our recent stay at Astoria Boracay was a fantastic experience for our family trip! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of their way to accommodate us. The location is unbeatable—right on Station 1's beautiful beachfront, which is perfect for families looking to avoid the more crowded areas of Boracay. The building itself can be updated but for the price of our stay with breakfast included I’d say it was well worth it. The food in the restaurant was fantastic! They’re very delicious we even had dinner there 3 nights in a row. I wonder why not many people eat there more. Maybe because they get put off by the lack of variety in the buffet breakfast. This hotel is best suited for budget travelers and it delivers exactly what it promises. The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. Our room was very clean, smelled fresh, and was well maintained. The staff and security guards were genuinely accommodating, and both check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. I’ve seen some negative reviews, but it’s important to be realistic: this is budget accommodation. If you’re expecting luxury finishes and fancy amenities, this is not the place for you. However, for the price, what they offer is fair and completely justifiable. There’s no in-room Wi-Fi and mobile data is weak, but a Wi-Fi vending machine is available downstairs. A 24/7 convenience store is conveniently located right by the reception. Smoking is not allowed inside the rooms, but there’s a designated area just outside the gate with a trash can for cigarette butts. please be mindful and keep the area clean. Another plus is the alley leading to the beach, which has local karinderyas and souvenir shops 😍 very convenient and gives a nice local vibe. If you’re coming from the port, simply tell the driver the hotel’s name and they’ll know exactly where to take you. Overall, this hotel is clean, affordable, well-located, and staffed by helpful people.
