Latest Events in Yamaguchi(March Updated)

The Miyano area is full of fireflies raised by students from Miyano Elementary School. This year's event will be held at Miyano Elementary School. There will be an introduction to the activities of the Miyano Elementary School Firefly Committee, an awards ceremony, a performance by the Miyano Junior High School Wind Orchestra, as well as bingo games and candy throwing!

The long-standing fireworks festival in Ogori, Yamaguchi City, began in the late Meiji era. The festival was interrupted due to the opening of the Shinkansen, but it was resumed in 1979 (Showa 54) and will usher in the 47th festival in 2025. During the festival, there will be a variety of activities such as Kanmoto Festival, Iwato Taiko, and various dances. About 3,000 fireworks are a summer event, making it a popular fireworks festival in the area.

From July to November 2025, YOASOBI will start its first domestic tour with 40 performances in 14 counties across the country. This is the first Hall tour in the country for YOASOBI.
