Join the 8-Hour Refresher CA CCW Training, a comprehensive 1-day course that starts at 9am. This training aims to provide a refresher on CA CCW laws and policies, along with range qualification. The course covers essential subjects such as state and federal laws regarding the use of force, safe gun handling, marksmanship, situational awareness, basic mental health issues, less than lethal solutions, tactical considerations, 4-count draw and scenarios, and live fire qualification. Taught by retired US Military and Law Enforcement Officers with exceptional qualifications and extensive experience in the field, this course guarantees a life-changing experience. Participants should be able to disassemble and assemble their firearms for inspection, as well as fix any stoppages on the firing line during range qualification. The training will be held at CAS AND SONS PROTECTIVE GROUP located at 18429 Avalon Blvd, Carson, CA 90746. The range qualification will take place at Insight Shooting Range, situated at 17020 Alburtis, Artesia. To participate, bring a conceal carry holster for your primary firearm, as well as the required ammunition for range qualification for each firearm on your CA CCW Application. Meeting the LASD/PD Standardized Course of Fire for Certification, participants will be required to complete the course of fire with a passing score of 70% of hits within the 7-ring of the B-27 target at each distance.
