WeOnFyre Cypher is an international community outreach and movement that originated as an idea created by FyreNation Crew co-founder Joy Kuma Gasaway in 2014 and launched in 2020. WeOnFyre Cypher provides monthly free, family-friendly, community events that travel to various areas in and around metro-Atlanta, as well as internationally to various countries including Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Congo, Tanzania, and the Philippines. The events provide communities a safe intersection that allows others to experience, find, question and support the creative arts and movements, as well as uplift one of HipHop's cultural traditions--the cypher--which is a gathering of artists and appreciators who unite to display and share a common love for their artistry. Even though it is international and has hosted tours in different countries since 2022, WeOnFyre Cypher NEVER charges attendance or vendors to attend, and strictly enforces that all of their events are family-friendly and safe, providing edited music choices, and safe vendor materials so that the experiences are 100% positive and safe for all. Are you ready for some great Jiu Jitsu? because we are! Girls in Gis is a community of women and girls in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu that come together through donation based training events. They are hosted, instructed, and attended only by women and girls. It's our time to come together! All ages and skill levels from any academy affiliation are welcome to attend. No experience required. Our events are designed for 100% participation, but do allow chaperones to accompany underage participants as spectators. Our events are donation based in order to provide equal opportunity to everyone. Your donations provide paid teaching opportunities for our guest instructor(s) and help to expand and make Girls in Gis programs such as our events, our leadership program and instructional training programs and our scholarships possible. She is a competitor in the sport, competing under IBJJF. She has achieved a 2x World Champion M1 belt title at Purple & Brown belt & a PAN American Championship title at brown belt. She is also a multiple time International Open Champion. She received her Blackbelt in 2023 under multiple time world champion Leonardo Nogueira and Jacare Calvacanti out of Alliance Headquarters based out of Atlanta, Georgia. When not training Jiu Jitsu, she is personal training clients, teaching Jiu Jitsu and getting in her own training in the gym. She has a heart for women and to see women succeed in this martial art. ‌ Sophia Cassella is a Professional BJJ Competitor. She has been training for 11 years.
