The fifth season of the UEFA Conference League will be contested in 2025/26. After a successful debut, the new format returns for its second season on 10 July and runs until the final in Leipzig on 27 May 2026. The 2025/26 Conference League final will be played at the RB Arena in Leipzig. The 47,000-capacity stadium staged five games at the 2006 FIFA World Cup and four at UEFA EURO 2024, including the dramatic 1-1 draw between Croatia and Italy in Group B. As well as the Conference League trophy, the 2025/26 winners also gain a place in the league phase of the 2026/27 Europa League if they have not qualified via their domestic competition.

Twice a year, Labenstern Castle offers visitors a thrilling medieval journey. The castle provides a variety of activities, including juggling performances, medieval battles and stage fights, children's puppet shows, and a large-scale fire show every evening at dusk. Historical reenactment groups from all over Germany set up camp in front of the 800-year-old castle. Merchants and artisans such as blacksmiths, turners, barbers, basket weavers, pewter makers, and spoon carvers demonstrate long-lost medieval skills. Children and adults are also welcome to try their hand at these crafts, such as felt making, forging, and wood carving. Archery competitions are suitable for all ages, offering market visitors a chance to showcase their archery skills. Several medieval groups will also provide exciting musical performances. The market will officially open at 12 noon on the first day by the market organizers.

This beginner-friendly session is perfect if you’ve always wanted to try jewellery making but didn’t know where to start. During this 2-hour workshop you will: • Learn professional ring sizing using mandrels • Create a textured hammered ring • Make a gemstone or pearl wire-wrapped ring • Form and shape a decorative spiral ring • Learn finishing and polishing techniques You’ll leave with three handcrafted rings in your chosen metal plus the skills and confidence to continue creating at home. No experience is needed. All materials and tools are provided. This is a small group workshop (maximum 10 people), allowing plenty of individual guidance and support throughout. £35 per person Come along on your own or bring a friend for a relaxed afternoon of creativity.
