Hands down the best location if you wanna be away from the center crowd but also wanna be close to pretty much everything. The staff was great. We got late for breakfast a couple of times and the staff was so kind to extend their breakfast timing just for us.

Like many guests here, we only stayed for one night before an early flight the next day, but it was a great experience. When we arrived by Uber, my wife and I were planning to just relax, eat in the hotel restaurant, and get up early for the airport. But, when we got in, my wife's arthritis in her knee really flared up after a week's worth of doing a lot of walking on the trip. She was struggling greatly in the lobby. I asked the front desk if they could help out and the manager immediately found a wheelchair we could use to get my wife to our room. He helped her into the chair, pushed her into the room, and helped her get settled in the bed so she could set some rest. And rest we did. The bed was extremely comfortable and even being close to a highway, the room was quiet enough for us to get a great night's sleep. And I guess we could count sheep to fall asleep as there was a literally sheep grazing outside our window. We truly appreciated the care shown to two people who just passed through the hotel because they had a free night certificate. We were treated like we mattered. And we all matter!
Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam - Schiphol

I turned up after two long flights. Finding the hotel was moderately difficult even though I had stayed at the nearby Hampton Inn before. 3Euro60 frpm the schiphol train station. The check in took abput 15 minutes as the only receptionist dealt with a group who hadnt paid and then were organising payment amongst themselves. I felt in the interim that maybe I could have been checked in during this time, or preferably there should have been an additional receptionist at a busy time, when travellers just want to get to their rooms. I had just arrived from Japan so the contrast in service was notable. Then on wanting to pay the tourist tax in cash was told they only take cards. Cash is still legal tender and should be treated as such. The room was pleasantly clean and the bed and shower facilities were fine. The carpet did have a noticeable stain on it. Breakfast was actually very good with a good selection and the check out girl.was friendly. Overall 50/50 but would probably not choose again.

I stayed here for 8 days this time. The room is larger than many in the city center and has a good sense of space. The small kitchen in the room is very useful. The service staff are friendly and will help solve problems immediately. Especially the lady at breakfast smiled and waved to us through the glass when we left early in the morning. The breakfast selection was better than expected. The location requires you to transfer to the mall bus to the subway station or take Uber, which is still possible. The best place is in a large shopping mall, where everything is available. On cold and windy days, restaurants and supermarkets are right there. If you want to find Chinese food, there is also a Korean supermarket and a Chinese-Vietnamese restaurant. There is a laundry room for washing and drying clothes, which is not cheap, but it is very convenient to have such facilities. The only thing I don't like about the quilt is that it has loose or piled lint, which is weird. Be aware that this hotel is very popular, so book early.
Novotel Amsterdam City

Great stay in Novotel Amsterdam City. This is more like a business hotel - high speed and stable wifi, generally clean, spacious, with in-room Nespresso coffee machine and shower amenities (using Ritual products!). Would be great if room slippers are included. Hotel is near to the convention centre, 15 minutes drive from airport and walking distance to the tram and metro. On the first or second day of our stay, realised the housekeeping was ”half done” - the tablecloth on our desk, bed not done and bathroom not cleaned. Was quite worrying at first - we took it as a one-off mistake and didn't pursue. After which we are heartened by the prompt and efficient housekeeping :)

The hotel is not bad, convenient and suitable for business travel. You can stay here again next time. The hotel is very new, the rooms are very suitable, and the transportation is convenient. Basically, all scenic spots can be reached within walking distance.
